Now who will the Left blame? You know they aren't going to like this at all.

So Fox News takes the cake. Fans of the channel, therefore, can now hold this poll over the heads of the other major networks, whose enthusiasts routinely accuse conservatives of watching the most 'untrustworthy' network in America. But is it?

Let's take a closer look:

Strikingly, more self-described Independents -- 25 percent -- say they trust Fox News "the most" than any other network. At the same time, Independents are least likely to turn to ABC, NBC or MSNBC as their most trusted news channels. Is this not telling? ....snip~

LOL!!

FOX even did better with democrats than MSNBC did with Republicans.

It's kind of sad that ABC didn't break 10% in any demographic, MSNBC only hit double digits with Democrats and 85% of the nation doesn't trust network news at all.

A 7% score for MSNBC definitely explains their collapsing ratings.

Among Democrats MSNBC scored behind Brian Williams.

Self-described Independents tend to be conservatives who will vote for the most conservative candidate regardless of party affiliation, or people who make their voting decisions on twiter trends, tea leaves and the like at the last possible minute IMO.

Mornin Declan. :2wave: Yeah but the question was who do they trust the most. Even women tied with CNN.

Conservatives believe in magic and reject science. Is it any surprise that they believe that Fox News is trustworthy?

Conservatives believe in magic. Where do you get this stuff. What I noticed its not Conservatives, Libertarians, Republicans, and Independents that run around using crystal balls and tarot cards telling others what they are thinking.

Guess who that leaves.

So Fox gets the biggest individual share, but the total biggest believeability share goes to the leftist opposition.

Poll: Fox Is Most and Least Trusted News Network | TVNewser

The pollsters at Quinnipiac University asked Americans about TV news, and as you’d expect, Americans gave confusing answers. According to the poll, America’s most trusted news network is Fox News–20% trust Fox “a great deal,” and 35% trust Fox “somewhat.” 26% of respondents said they didn’t trust Fox at all, which puts Fox on top of both the most-trusted and least-trusted lists.

Uhm no Skipper  ......Local News and Fox take the biggest believability. See its like we got Ginger and Marianne and left your team with Mrs Howell. :2razz:

The big winner is local television news, trusted by 19 percent of voters "a great deal" and by 52 percent "somewhat."

"FOX News may be the most trusted in the network and cable news race, but they all take a back seat to your local news," said Tim Malloy, assistant director of the Quinnipiac University Poll.....snip~

Yeah, if we go by your links guesswork on people being confused with their answers.

Although, they did use the term Americans at least.

Have no idea who that is. I don't watch network/cable news often except when I am surfing through. I watched a couple minutes of MSNBC the day the DHS budget was passed just by coincidence. I watch PBS News shows sporadically, but I do trust them more. I mostly get news off the internettymathingajig

Ah, that's Courtney Friel.....she moved over from the World of Poker to Fox which was a while back.

Yeah I don't watch much TV anymore.....although I hear it on the radio when working.

I work in the Industry so its not like I can avoid it.

Add them all up. "leftists" outpoll the righties.

According to the chart and demographics all this proves is Republican conservatives are more locked in on one news source. They like to tune into a source that tells them what they want to hear, Fox.

On the other hand people who are more center or left seem to get the news from more of a variety of sources.

With all those different sources you would think theh would be a little better informed.

But, those sources are most likely redundant when it comes to the information they provide.

CNN easily won the 18-34 YO range, and that age range polled over 60% for the other 'different sources'. So don't be so hard on the younger Republicans, they are the future of the GOP.
