Huckabee struggles to explain hypocrisy vs. Jon Stewart

Too bad he just can't be a man and admit he only targeted Beyonce and Jay Z because of their relationship with the president.

Agreed completely. As I said in another thread on the matter, Huckabee going after Beyonce is exclusively about going after the President. Given the wide range of music out there these days, what Beyonce is saying in her music is rather mild in comparison to plenty of others.

Yes, but they are hardly what I would call a bad influence compared with others. For the most part they keep a quiet lifestyle and work hard.

Has Beyonce ever been to rehab or shown her breasts? Perhaps to some she might have provocative dancing and lyrics but she also has a hard work ethic and comes across as a strong mother, wife, and woman.

They're still married and aren't together for insidious reasons. Compare that to Newt Gingrich or John McCain...or any number of other "family values" hypocrites.

Maybe not to someone like you but to some of us who come from the streets it shows just how far people like us can make it. Jay Z may have a somewhat shaky past but not everyone is perfect I think he has outgrown and learned from his mistakes. People could do alot worse for themselves than having a stable two parent house, great careers, and over a billion dollar net worth.
 
It amazes me how guys like Huckabee (who believe in creationism) constantly ridicule educated people. Those educated people invent things, create things, and better the world. Versus the "bubba" that Huck thinks is so great.

Ignorance is not a trait to be proud of. Huckabee cashes in on the lowest common denominator. No thanks, I use my brain.

I think the point Huck made was missed about B, (I do believe Jay Z pimped her) that she is a pop star whose market demographic is tweens to twenties. and the behavior displayed by B in those videos (or M. Cyrus's disgusting behavior) isn't something any of us -- I would hope -- would want our daughters to mimic.

This video, especially the first few minutes, is an absolute decimation of the mass ideological hypocrisy movement which is I'm sorry to say conservatism. Completely contrary to what ANY conservative person will argue in America, they absolutely DO believe their way of life is the "better" way and that urban and suburban people are simply "idiots that need a good punching". It's simply the truth and Jon Stewart near brought it out in this video.

I find her music rather pleasant compared to the absolute kak thats out there these days.

Not like a diehard fan or anything but the girl actually has some real talent.
