Rachel Maddow Humiliated For "Lazy" Journalism By Fox Contributor Stuart Varney

Where? All your data shows is that women are pursuing higher education at higher rates.

You mean your second source? That doesn't prove your assertions either. 20% of women in business majors to 28% of their male counterparts? 2% in engineering?

Is this the data that is supposed to convince me?

And your data shows...what?

You said, "if women were smart, they would pursue these degrees more....". My data shows show that women are "smart" and do pursue those degrees more ....but are still not making the same gains and success that men get.

But they are not pursuing the right type of degrees or fields. That is related to the success that men get. If men are willing to pursue more inflexible and riskier careers than women, then that relates to their success.

How does this refute what I said?
FFS...I show data that women are nearly equal to or surpass male degree conferees in the studies you listed, showing that women DO IN FACT pursue...AND ATTAIN those degrees....and you ask how this refutes your denial?

What exactly is the problem in admitting you are very wrong?

Imbecile? Honors Stanford Grad and a Doctorate from Oxford in Political Science. Rhodes Scholars are hardly imbeciles. Whether she is or is not a hack is certainly debatable. Only an idiot would actually believe she is an imbecile however.

She's not an imbecile, but there seem to be a lot of posters taking some liberties with her academic credentials on here. Last week Middleground said she had a PhD from Oxford and it took her 8 years to get it. Not so.

I do not believe she graduated from Stanford with honors. Can you source that?

The right type? What makes a nurse less valuable than a computer technician? Anyway, Political Science isn't exactly a predominately female oriented field, is it?

Well im glad you're impressed but in the end, she's in a dressing room right next to the Rev Al Sharpton on the lowest rated network in the country..

He didn't call her an imbecile, he called her fans imbeciles.

The right type in terms of earning potential, of course. It probably wasn't intended to disparage lower-paying but noble occupations.

What makes a nurse less valuable than a computer technician? Supply and demand. The reverse may always be decreed by a controlling authority, of course, but that's inadvisable.

It's worth noting that some nurses probably make more than some computer technicians--again thanks to supply and demand for specific skill sets

It's Political Science, not Finance, Economics, Science, Physiology, Engineering or Business...

You might as well have said she had a Doctorate in Journalism. That I would actually believe...

That may be one of the dumbest comments I have ever seen on this forum. And that is saying a whole lot.

I stand corrected. I read this wrong.

Maddow, an MSNBC talk show host, had been invited to speak at Stanford by the Honors Program in Ethics and Society, of which she is an alumna, as part of its 25th anniversary celebrations.

I'm betting she makes a whole lot more money than you. :lamo

Rachel Maddow is a progressive cheerleader masquerading as a journalist. ;)

LOL You just hate her because she is the hardest working journalist on TV and the work is aimed at ridiculing the Right by telling the truth about what they say and do. It's a 24/7 job, no doubt.
