Maddow, CO Anchor Call Out Megyn Kelly for Misleading Voter Fraud Coverage

It's not 8 years, including thesis.

 And? Does Ben Carson win because he has the more time-demanding PhD program?

Depending on the topic and program, the length of doctorates can range from 3 years post-graduate to 5 or more.

Whatever.

Wait....wut? No.

First off, she doesn't have a PhD. She has a DPhil in Politics from Oxford, and it's a 3 year program (including thesis). She went to Oxford as a Rhodes Scholar.

DPhil in Politics | Politics and International Relations, University of Oxford

It took her 6 years to complete her 3 year program because by her own admission she dropped out for a while, went to London, worked for a while on an AIDS project there, ran out of money, and went back to the USA to eventually finish her thesis so she could get the DPhil.

I'm not diminishing her intelligence by any means; Rachel is a smart woman. But her effort to get her advanced degree was not only a program of the same length as Kelly's, it took her twice as long to commit to it and finish.

Megyn Kelly is caught by Rachel Maddow and a Colorado anchorman telling falsehoods about being able to print ballots on your computer

On her Fox News show this week, Megyn Kellydrew viewer attention to possible voter fraud in Colorado over a law that she said “literally allows residents to print ballots from their home computers, then encourages them to turn ballots over to collectors.” This earned her a stern rebuke from one Colorado news anchor and Rachel Maddow.

First, 9News anchor Kyle Clark drew attention to Kelly’s remarks and said, “We normally reserve our truth test for political ads, but that claim is misleading.” He explained that the only voters allowed to print out and turn in ballots that way are military and overseas voters. No other Coloradans will be allowed to vote that way.

And then, Friday night, Maddow took a turn going after Kelly, bringing the issues with Kelly’s reporting into the national spotlight. Maddow mocked how seriously Kelly was reporting on this revelation “that they made up.” She explained that other states have similar laws about at-home ballots for service members, but “Fox has now decided that in the state of Colorado, that’s terrifying, even if it doesn’t terrify them anywhere else in the country.”le to print ballot on your home computer.

Maddow calling others misleading?

Maddow's entire show is dedicated to mocking non-progressives. Hell that crazy bitch spends ZERO time analyzing actual topics.... I now her show is op-ed but I think Tucker Carlson did a better and more fair job doing that until he was FIRED for being a libertarian. But yeah, that's how the progressives do it - they silence everyone who disagrees with their 1984 bull****.

I <heart> Megyn Kelly.

(she gives me a chubby....)

I think Maddow just wants to screw Megan Kelly - and having the 7th grade mentality Maddow does she is being mean to those that she desires.

Liberals come in all ages, as do conservatives. There are just as many intellectually challenged people on the left as there are on the right - we see empirical evidence of that on this very forum daily. Not sure how you got all that from what I said, which was that there are multiple left leaning news sources for liberals to watch to get their ideological confirmation from the "news." FNC is the sole source for righties.

I'm old, challenged and as liberal as all get-out. Don't get my news from the major networks, though. They just make me grumpier.
Nice avatar, by the way. We must be fellow clansmen.

Megyn Kelly is 10x more intelligent than Maddow....

At least Kelly questions just about everything - progressives NEVER question their party line - they just accept the aristocratic attempts by progressives in government to be logical and the truth.

I can't stand people that don't question or who aren't skeptical and don't research ideas er proposed legislation...

This country wasn't built on "government knows best" It was built by individuals highly skeptical of the motives of governments.... I think out Bill of Rights and Constitution in general clearly points that out - given the fact dissent was highly recommended and the fact that our FIRST civil liberty protects those who question government...

You can bet your ass the progressives would love nothing more than to burn the Bill of Rights because it throws a wrench into their agenda. Freedom of Speech, Religion and expression certainly contradicts the progressive "do as you're told" agenda.

Must be. My family is the oldest and longest Sept of the clan. We were the pipers of the clan, and technically still are.

Have you ever been to Duart Castle? I've been all over the world, but have never been able to go visit the castle. I hope to do so before I die.

Mrs Kelly does no wrong. Just look at her. Dang near perfection.

We're planning to go next year, Mull and Duart Castle will be #1 on the list.
