Why VOX is crap

I don't read those sites.... but if they don't have Ezra Klein they're already one notch above Vox. And really, I hate them using VOX as it tarnishes a pristine amplifier company....

I thought this was a thread about Vox amps! Talk about a let down.

The good thing about Mr. Klein sounding off is that he exposes pseudo-liberals like himself as the nasty, thoroughly illiberal people they are. Read what he wrote about the California "campus rape" law that he and Jerry "Medfly" Brown like so well. Klein makes clear he doesn't give a damn about due process, which is one of the most basic constitutional rights we enjoy.

Pretty typical of leftists to have contempt for constitutional rights, except, of course, when they are trying to convince a court to grant special rights to one of their pet victim groups. They attack the First Amendment; they attack the Second Amendment; and now they attack the Fourteenth Amendment's command that no state may deprive any person of liberty without due process of law. For them, a handful of biased amateurs on some campus kangaroo court, operating under rules rigged against the poor slob who's been accused, is good enough. I doubt it will be good enough for the courts.

According to the link provided by the OP to the Vox article: "A 2007 study by the Department of Justice found that one in five women is the victim of an attempted or completed sexual assault while in college."

Now, do you feel foolish for your mistake, or was your argument a conscious intent to deceive (which would be why you equated sexual assault with rape)?

Once again, the right wing pot calls the kettle black. Anyone see a trend?

No I'm not because it's a lie.
And here's the reason why it is a lie.

This is said report.

What does it say there?
This report is not published by the DOJ and it does not reflect the policies of the US govt.
Why is that?

Because it's a bad study, basically, it's bollocks.

Some people wanted to prove something.
So they applied for a govt grant.
Got it.
And after they completed their study they presented their paper as proof that they didn't take the money from the grant and went on vacation to the Bahamas.
But ofc, the DOJ looked at it, read it, realized it's bollocks (methodology is wrong, research method is wrong and => the findings are wrong), so they said that they don't take on the study because it's bollocks but they'll put it up on the web anyway. Why? Because that's what you do as a govt institution.
So this is a lie. Add to this the fact that the study is BS and you got nothing. Just a bunch of hype and misrepresented "facts".

And I, a non-journalist, know this. Why? Because I'm not a liar, not incompetent and overall a better person than all of these biased media BS people combined. And their followers.

So stop protecting your masters who lie and deceive the population and start becoming a better person.

Why is that? Because it's a [..]
... private study funded by the DOJ. But that has nothing to do with the misrepresentation presented by the poster in his earlier effort (quoted below), equating the campus assault rate to the national rape rate, which is of course apples to oranges on two counts (campus vs national, assault vs rape). Fail continues.

In the case of the piece I presented as proof, one of the latest Vox BS stories, the 1 in 5 "fact" is wrong. 1 in 5 women in the US aren't sexually abused. It's a bald faced lie that many "journalists" in the propaganda media push. Rape in the US is 25 per 100k people. That's not 1 in 5. That's 1 in 4000. [...]
