Fox News only tells the turth how often? (sorry, couldn't resist.)[W:172]

What's a turth?

Those are the ones that they checked. What % were checked? 1%? 0.1%? 0.01%?

I don't know if politifact is liberal or not. Are you saying that they are NOT liberal?

I'm saying they are accurate. If you want to say being accurate is liberal, I'm OK with that. ;)

Is it impossible to be accurate and liberal?

How do you know that they're accurate?

By checking them. Look, it doesn't take much to see the lies they point out. And they do it for others. I just couldn't resist having a little fun here. But any cursor openned mind look at any of these they point out would show that they are accurate. They link sources, and you can go out and find accurate sources elsewhere as well that support them.

OK, so they're accurate, but they can still be biased. Did you do a thorough study to see if they aren't biased?

I've told you, I don't care about bias. But if I wanted to know, I'd do far better than you guys do. ;) There is an actual way to measure it. Not by polls, not by positive versus negative, which foolishly assumes everything is exactly equal always. Not by voting habits. Not by my pet story didn't get the play I wanted. But measuring language, accounting for other factors, and looking at inaccuracy without consequence. After all, Hannity still has a job.

What's a turth?

Truth is an opinion based on the way you see reality. Truth is also a Conspiracy Buzz word, that is used waaay too often in that crowd for my own liking. In this case, this poll was conducted with a baited question and back-fired. The results are pretty scattered statistically speaking

Most of the people they're quoting are pundits and guests on various shows. They're editorialists. If you looked at the other news outlets and their guests and pundits the percentages would probably be the same. Also, some of what they're saying is "false" is subjective opinion which can't be proven either way. An example is O'Reilly saying the Denver post hiring an editor to promote pot smoking. Hard to tell if its true or false - yet poltifact subjectively calls it "false".

Politi-fact has been known to not understand subjectivity vs. objectivity. Especially when it comes to left leaning opinions or "facts".

What is accurate is saying that liberalism is a mental disease.

When I saw that CNN had Bill Maher on as some kind of an expert I was no longer reassured.

I have no idea what you are talking about. Got a link to a clip?

When I saw that CNN had Bill Maher on as some kind of an expert I was no longer reassured.

I'll give you that. Informed as Maher is, he is still a comedian/entertainer. He is no political "expert," by my measure. He's just another Limbaugh/Hannity/O'reilly. Just another blowhard like them but from the other side of the tracks.

If you would get away from watching Fox News Channel and helped out CNN ratings, you wouldn't need a link.

???
I generally don't watch Fox... So was Bill Maher on CNN or not?

I watch Fox News more than I watch CNN.

But Bill Maher has been on CNN numerous of times being portrayed as someone you must listen to and believe in, kind of like a white Obama.
