MediaMatters Montage on Hobby Lobby Ruling[W:38]

Re: MediaMatters Montage on Hobby Lobby Ruling

Precedent has been set that an employer's religious opinion can impact an employee's earned benefits. Take from that what you will.

Why would your employers religious opinion not affect what benefits they offer?

Re: MediaMatters Montage on Hobby Lobby Ruling

They're filtering employee benefits based on 'religious opinion'. That's discrimination, and in my opinion, it should be illegal.

that's ridicules..........."give me what I want, or your discriminating against me?"

Hillary Clinton---by denying women these drugs, ..hobby lobby is imposing its religious values on them.......<----this is crazy.

how can I impose on you, if you are demanding from me?

Re: MediaMatters Montage on Hobby Lobby Ruling

Employees haven't "earned" them. Its a mandate. In the past, companies didn't have to offer health insurance if they did not want to. Now, that too is a mandate.

Re: MediaMatters Montage on Hobby Lobby Ruling

There never has been guaranteed equity in benefits among different employers. I applied for two different jobs in the past couple of weeks. One of them offers 30 paid days off the first year, and decent insurance rates. The other offers less paid days off, but better insurance rates and 401K bennies. My benefits will be based on what I want and what works best for me. I do not expect every potential employer to treat me as if I deserve everything that is possible to get in the form of benefits. I weigh my options and go to work for whoever has the deal that I want.

Nicely stated, Lizzie.

Ah yes....just what the world needs.....more leftist kooks pissing and moaning about the bogus "war on women."

If I said it a thousand times, the modern American left is the sum of the earth.

Re: MediaMatters Montage on Hobby Lobby Ruling

Exactly. Hobby Lobby is paying for the insurance, not the contraceptives. There is no misinformation being presented.

And the health insurance pays for the contraceptives.. You're argument is because HL doesn't directly pay for the contraceptive, they don't pay for them at all..... :lamo
