Jay Carney's Kitchen... Enlightening.

The poster on the back wall looks a little out of place.

Or it is that the son is doing the cooking while the females are watching

Clearing the image is shoving the feminist agenda down peoples throats

Quite

I believe it is a style of a Soviet poster

Yeah, and for all we know he got it on a trip to Russia or something.

Fortunately, the camera didn't get the giant Che Guevara mural on the left-hand wall.

Also, the randomly strewn-about fresh fruit looks a little off. Nobody keeps a stack of melons on their counter like that.

did you see the blueberries on the counter, a horrible mess,

BTW, how exactly is this "bias in the media"???

Take a GOOD look at it.

Does anyone else see something.. amusingly amiss here?

How about there's enough food to feed a family of thirty and nobody's morbidly obese. See those hard boiled eggs on the left? One...one...of those is my breakfast. Unless these people are going out and pulling a plow and cutting down trees for the next eighteen hours that's just nuts.

Poor Jay Carney. He is sent out there to tout the Presidents socialist policies.

My wife admired the well staged picture, but found the art, to be well... ironic.

There are two, posters of amusing content there. And it's up in Bias cause I couldn't find a better place to put it. Frankly the Spokes kid has old USSR Art up in house, in highly staged picture of his family...

Come on, that's just too ripe for mockery. Admit it. Even those of you that think Carney's an honest broker of information...

He's the White House Press Sec. OF COURSE he's not an honest broker of info. Was Ari Fleischer?

Oh, come on; could we avoid the side trip?

Here's what Mediaite was saying a year ago:

Of the President’s 454 employees, Carney is one of 21 who receives the maximum salary of $172,000. Good money, sure, but maybe one-sixth of what he could make working in “journalism” again. Rumor has it that MSNBC is hiring former senior members of Team Obama, and the aforementioned CNN (his former home via Time Warner) would sign Carney in a heartbeat. Given his prior (impressive/extensive) experience, his salary would be north of seven figures. Easily.

The last two presidents have seen their second terms consist of three different press secretaries.

Given the precedence, there’s no shame in taking the money and running, Jay.

Mostly red and white poster on the right?
Maybe the entire wall looks a little out of place.
Where that wall meets the ceiling and where that wall meets the floor, big difference.
The wall appears to be further away from the viewer at the top and nearer the viewer at the bottom.

Seems to make that poster really stand out.

Inspirational art for the entire family every morning. Telling too.

They are all shoeless proving they are Chinese Commies. The faucet position is a symbol of the impotent American military. The poster on the left is a Russian comrade working in a munitions factory. The egg flying in the air is a symbol of the invading aliens from another solar system plotting to remove our fingernails. The handle on the artificial drawer under the sink is a symbol of the failing industrial status of American ingenuity. The single raspberry with the sixteen blueberries is a symbol of the early Calvary of the white massacres of the American Indians. Last. the open mouth of the daughter proves she is a slut.

Just an FYI.

untitled (13).jpg

Russian revolution recruitment poster.

"Have you volunteered yet?"

They probably just like vintage propaganda posters. We have some old Cultural Revolution Posters framed and hanging in our house from one of our trips to China.

Well, I'm convinced. I guess Obama really WAS born in Kenya.

The egg is def a shop

The whole picture looks like a painting to me rather than a photograph, or a digitally enhanced photograph. The egg flip look phony to me, possibly the pictures on the walls were photoshoped.

I wonder about this myself. Although I work with photoshop every day, high quality photo manipulation for the purpose of fooling the eye isn't my area of expertise. I think Hatuey would be better suited to say. What looks kind of odd to me is the darkened red outline of the poster against the mother's sleeve, like so:

shipman-lead-04102014.jpg

Whereas I would expect it to look more like this:

shipman-lead-04102014_2.jpg

In fact, the reflected light blue in the shadow of her sleeve against the poster doesn't make a whole lot of sense either. I accept though that this could be an artifact issue, or something else entirely benign.

Summoning Hatuey!
