That's pretty heavy stuff. So Israel fired the first shot so to speak. I hate what Israel does to it's neighbor's. I don't like what it's neighbor's do to Israel. But if anyone should stop shooting first, it should be Israel.

Instead of an ad hom, how about addressing the points he was making? I for one do not believe in any way Israel has halo's over their head. I also will not give them carte blanche to do anything they want today just because they suffered the holocaust years ago.

White, Tecoya is correct (at least in my case) that your screen name has been "tainted" by your ideology. I ignored your OP for that reason. This same video was linked at another site by a member who has my respect, and I watched it in it's entirety. That hour and twenty minutes was well spent and I had a number of poorly informed beliefs challenged.

If you are serious in promoting discussion and debate, needs to be more than a link and comment to "watch this." Tell us why you think this video is worth the time it takes to watch. For example,"this video provides a cogent argument by both Israeli and Palistinian moderates, that peace can not be achieved until there is a more balanced view of the conflict by the US media. It then lays out seven public relation strategies that are used to manipulate what we see in our press. I found their arguments compelling and I am interested in your take."

Instead of encouraging a discussion, you list another half dozen video links without any comment on content. Your method becomes rather problematic, wouldn't you agree?

BTW folks, the video is excellent and a good stepping off point for a discussion of potential media bias or manipulation that limits the information that we are receiving.

I know...I spent the time as well, and found it interesting to say the least. I refused to state as much in this thread, as it only played into the hands of an admitted Bigot, and I do not play with those....unless I mean to destroy them.

You make a valid point. Another perspective is that there is enough information in his post to provide for anyone who "really" wants to know the truth, can get more pieces of the puzzle from his links. People that don't want to know the truth, will blow it off without ever reading it. And so, for those people, I don't feel the need to gift wrap the information for them and give it to them on their birthday. Why should someone go to all the work of compiling evidence when these people will just trash it anyway?
