This is not a subplot. That's what the movie is all about.

The irony of your post is that this movie is being used to push countless products from food to SUVs.

The attacks from the right appear to me to be quite humorous,
Rather than the issue they attack the messenger most vigorous,
While zealots on the environment exist to some degree,
No one should ever celebrate their demise with glee,
While some would advocate little or no use of environment at all,
These are a very slim minority in the call,
Most would say fair use should be the rule of the day,
So that we can continue to play,
But alas this is not the way of those with power have acted,
To them nature is but a resource to be extracted.

Poor children. It is terrible for them to learn greed is bad. Or that profit concerns can be trumped by other issues. I do wish there was a real issue here.

    it is terrible actually.

greed is not bad. greed is why mankind sees huge jumps in technological advances. it is why products can get cheaper while lasting longer and working better.

Greed is good... economic collapse did not happen in 2008, stay the course.

Like I said, I heard in a movie that greed was good.

No, you mistake the drive to do well with greed. they are actually two different things. Greed, where you need it so badly you're willing to harm others, is bad. Period. Not even conservatives, real conservatives, promote greed.

I'm sorry that you, and MPG it appears, don't understand the difference between the two.

And if you claim they are indoctrinating, you have to show they are.

But isn't what you're really upset about is that there is not enough indoctrination to your world view? Wouldn't you really favor indoctrination if it was the way you want it done?

    Unlike the faux enviro types
many conservatives do more than bleat hype.
To us the wilderness is lush and greenery
and not merely the backdrop to your video game scenery
When it comes to experiencing nature's enjoyment
We do it in person, not from our moms basement.
As to the 'capitalists' cutting down trees
surely you know they replant them you see?
And tho you bemoan where business ventures have trod
surely you realize it takes natural resources to make your iPod?
Responsible management of nature is a must
for those of us who dont spend our lives swilling red bull and covered in cheeto dust.

Yes, many conservatives are not much different than liberal environmentalist. Wanting to conserve is not a liberal issue alone.

There is a line where business goes too far, and both conservatives and liberals should agree that there is a line, and work toward agreement on where that line is.
