CNN steps in it again. I love politics.
“You weren’t even there…” retorted LeVell. “Pastor Darryl Scott, Mike Cohen, they are in the process of bringing all types of people from all over the country, from all different backgrounds. Remember the diversity coalition where we reached out to all different types of people?”

“Yeah, it was a bunch of mediocre Negroes being dragged in front of TV as a photo-op for Donald Trump’s exploitative campaign against black people. And you are an example of that,” Hill said, adding later he wasn't engaging in "name-calling."

I love CNN. It's better than the Comedy Channel. Is this the new face of tolerance?

Teh Libruls are intolerant because a conservative found a random moron that he'd like to pretend represents the left.

I looked at my post and didn't see anywhere that related to "libruls" or the left. The sub forum is "Bias In the Media". Diverting again counselor?

Wait isn't Comedy Central owned and operated by liberals??? How could you even stand it.

Comedy Central is pretty funny. They do have some comedians that aren't stuck on stupid.

Talk about being better than Comedy Central.

It may not have occurred to you but for, all practical purposes, you just called Mark Lamont Hill a mediocre negro. Just because you didn't use the exact words you made the exact same assessment of him that he did of the people that met with Trump.

I'll admit that did make me smile, but geez, how pathetic.

CNN is doing everything they can do to shoot themselves int he foot. This isn't a big thing, just one more rock on the mountain.

My God, this doofus has a Ph.D??? Are they being handed out like candy? **** I guess I better get one too.

I just read his wiki and then his own website bio. He's a narcissst and he's jealous Trump didn't invite him over. Glad I did some research before coming to that conclusion. His comment about "mediocre negroes" would have gotten anyone else on any other network fired. But it's CNN, he'll probably get promoted.

From 2005 to 2009, Hill was a professor of urban education and American studies at Temple University. In the fall of 2009, Hill joined the faculty of Teachers College, Columbia University as an associate professor of education.[SUP][2][/SUP] He left Teachers College in 2014 to join the faculty at Morehouse College as Distinguished Professor of African American Studies.[SUP][1][/SUP]https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marc_Lamont_Hill

Near as I can figure from that page, he has a PhD in Spanish (?)

Been on O'Reilly a number of times in previous years. I think Bill just fed up with his crap, or vice versa.

According to his own bio (blech) he got his Ph/D by "His research focuses on the intersections between culture, politics, and education." Basically he's got no real world experience in anything. He's transparently jealous that he hasn't been invited to the White House. He went on and on and on about "get some policy experts", but really he wants to be invited so badly but he has no gravitas at all.

... The smartest black person within a mile of Trump's presidency is Ben Carson. If he wants to go downhill from there, I have no problem with it.

A black person with an education is mad that Trump chose dumb black people.

*Please don't defend the brilliance of 'Steve Harvey'* It'd just make this whole exchange more awkward.

Anyways, you see this as being jealous he wasn't invited.

Alright.

I don't think that's it.

The OP, IMO, was simply presenting additional proof that CNN is a worthless pile of fake news garbage that employs racist partisan hacks.

Alright.

I know Steve Harvey and Kanye West are more successful in their fields of expertise than Marc Hill is in his field of expertise. So yes it very much sounds like jealousy. Here's how you can tell Marc Hill is and idiotic hack:::he says those people shouldn't be invited to entertain...but none of those people were invited as entertainment. Not a one. He makes **** up. That's why he has no gravitas and no credibility. Which makes him perfect for CNN.

Marc Hill isn't a celebrity nor does he sign and dance on tv/dvd for millions of adoring white fans with some black fans sprinkled in.

I'm sure you thought that was a devastating argument though.

Again, you're proving his point. Trump isn't exactly hanging out with black people who study black people, he's hanging out with people that they buy **** from.

That isn't going to help black people.

Please don't make this anymore awkward than it needs to be.

As if "random morons" didn't make up the bulk of "teh left". That word, "random", it doesn't mean what you think it means.

Here, let me help.
