Because of course they did.

Breitbart coordinated with liberal activist to take down Rubio, Cruz

Aaron Black, an associate at Democracy Partners, which has been featured in undercover videos by the Project Veritas group, would often tip Breitbart off about the stunts he planned to pull, exchanging raw video footage for coverage, a source close to the situation told Politico...

“He worked directly with Breitbart’s political team on the ground in the primary states to sabotage Marco Rubio & Ted Cruz, and elect Trump as nominee of [the Republican] Party,” the source told Politico. “[Black] was coordinating with [Breitbart’s] top staff to rabble rouse against Rubio at rallies... Though Breitbart and Black teamed up to bring about the same result, it is not likely they shared the same intention. According to emails stolen by WikiLeaks, it was Rubio the Clinton campaign feared most in a general election matchup...

Well done, Trumpkins. Well Done indeed.

Rigged? Did Someone say rigged? This must be a mistake. Only the 'liberal media' conspire and use dirty tricks in politics. Only they 'rig' the process.

The con media, the GOP, Trump they have always been pure as the driven snow. ;)

Because of course they did.

Let's see. Politico reports collusion "according to a source with direct knowledge of the situation."

A source.....

Politico, outed in emails as the home of self admitted "hacks" like Glenn Thrush, who with their approval, colluded and assisted the Clinton campaign, puts out a screed about collusion and assistance, that at this point, has no veracity.

:) Just to get you on record - if Breitbart did this, that would be bad, yes? :)

Yes. Unlike most anti-Trump minions, I think the conversion of the media into fraudulent corrupt propaganda mills is a threat to the principles this Nation was founded on.

Of course, there are some media sources that don't lie about their bias, and so their bias is fine with me. I don't know Breitbart enough to know where they fit.

Has Breitbart lied about their bias like Politico, WaPo, NYT, ABC, NBC, CBS, etc, etc. has been documented to be doing?

Eh. They took Andrew Breitbart's legacy and crapped all over it by turning themselves into an Alt-Right propaganda mill. They lie, but generally it's fairly obvious who they are supporting.

Do you support media that lies?

So what media do you use, if any?

Eh, I scatter around. I read 538 / Mediaite for the left wing view and National Review / The Blaze for the right wing view.

So back on topic and leaving the 'they do it too crap behind'...

The Donald has been beating up the bias corrupt media for awhile now...

I remember when is GOP rivals complained The Donald was getting tremendous free airtime during the primary process. Now The Donald complains the media is in it against him (some say the media is just reporting each and every gaffe the Orange Guy makes and the drumbeat of women who are now coming forward)

I think this proves The Donald would be quite happy with 'the corrupt media' if he had been able to corrupt more of it to his cause... :peace

He was the beneficiary of a lot of free publicity and he was largely given a pass. A lot of air time but not a lot of "holding his feet to the fire". Then a funny thing happened... he won the nomination. As soon as he did that same media did an about face and turned the big guns on him. No more kid gloves, it was time for the long knives.

The Trumpetts were warned that this would happen, too, but were seemingly too drunk on the delusion that they were all part of some epic movement to comprehend the fact that they were really being played.

Hillary managed to draw the one person in the field who she could beat and she had a great deal of assistance in doing so.

I know, right? Gosh, if only anyone had predicted that would happen.

Not sure why Conservatives, who are the ones who nominated Trump, are opposed to him now? Trump was nominated by the Conservative base, and he will bring the Conservative base down with him when he loses next month. Good riddance.

The bolded may be left wing, and a glance through the public comments will probably cause a conservative nausea (not me though), but I do believe Nate Silver & crew try their best to get things right in terms of accuracy.

I like his analysis. He does a nice job of interrelating the quantitative with the fundamental - something to which few can excel!

I think when all the dust settles and people have time to digest this they will realize that the very first question he was asked on a debate stage was a foreshadowing of events to come. Megyn Kelly laid it all out on the table but people were too <I don't know what> to realize it... Trump was going to get CRUSHED by women voters.

I can hardly wait to see the demographic breakdown. I'm guessing that he will lose with women by the largest margins in modern history.

I'm not quite as sold on the media as an evil empire, but your points are good ones.

This also shows how far the GOP Right, and mainstream moderates & Left have drifted apart. I think the mainstream media covered Trump more lightly in a nearly entertainment fashion when he was in the primary. It was seen as more a GOP thing, and the GOP has had an off-the-wall fringe Right subset going-on for quite awhile now.; it was the GOP thing.

But once Trump emerged from the closed world of the GOP primary to enter mainstream America as our President, the media held his feet to the fire - as it should be IMO! And yes, we all knew this would happen, but I don't see this as particularly a form of collusion. Trump went out of his way to provide sensationalist headlines; it was his M.O. He was newsworthy, and the media covered the news. He sold airtime!

But he misunderstood the desires & values of the greater American people in the general populace outside the primary, and it cost him. It was his election to lose, and no presidential candidate in modern history worked harder than him to lose it! Exceedingly hard! Good riddance, I say. The faster his campaign is consigned to an asterisk in the footnotes of history, the better!

He occasionally tries really hard to sell the invasion force narrative. To some great extent it is true, but it relies the notion that Trumpism can just be swept under the rug rather than it being an endemic piece of the conservative movement in the first place.

Sorry to open up a second post here, but sad to say 'uneducated older Caucasian men' seems to be his only real winning demographic. And the GOP couldn't have picked a worse demographic to build their future upon. He has also gone far out of his was to specifically alienate women, Mexicans, and African-Americans. The latter are the very groups the GOP needs to court!

IMO he really set the GOP back here, not just for this election, but into the future especially with Mexicans. Not to mention the Supreme Court (and Senate), either.

To use his vernacular, he's been a 'real disaster'! :lamo

I'm not sure about the long term damage this will do. The GOP has always struggled to gain minority support and the current issues they are having with women seem to be more directed at Trump, personally, rather than the GOP generally. A few years of Hillary could also serve as a staunch reminder that choosing outhouse door number 2 rather than outhouse door number 1 still leaves you with the very distinct scent of **** in the air and it will all be her **** as Trump will no longer be around to camouflage the aroma. This woman didn't accumulate the baggage that she has by accident.

I guess we'll see soon enough.
