The Wall Street Journal’s Potomac Watch columnist Kimberley Strassel details the “devastating case against a Clinton presidency” that can be made by reviewing the WikiLeaks documents combined with what is already known in the public record. Strassel notes that although “the nation now has proof of pretty much everything [Hillary Clinton] has been accused of,” the media “has almost uniformly ignored the flurry of bombshells, preferring to devote its front pages” to the story that Donald Trump “made lewd remarks a decade ago and now stands accused of groping women.”

The Obama administration—the federal government, supported by tax dollars—was working as an extension of the Clinton campaign. The State Department coordinated with her staff in responding to the email scandal, and the Justice Department kept her team informed about developments in the court case.

Worse, Mrs. Clinton’s State Department, as documents obtained under the Freedom of Information Act show, took special care of donors to the Clinton Foundation. In a series of 2010 emails, a senior aide to Mrs. Clinton asked a foundation official to let her know which groups offering assistance with the Haitian earthquake relief were “FOB” (Friends of Bill) or “WJC VIPs” (William Jefferson Clinton VIPs).

It is an opinion piece in the WSJ by a conservative columnist. It means nothing. It is not news. A news article would not use the phrase "...everyone knows she is a criminal..."....that is not journalism (nor is it particularly effective in an opinion piece).

So, Kimberly Strassel has similar views as many of the right-wing posters on this board. That is all the news that is here.

If you actually thought through this, even if this is true, the Clinton's do not profit by contributions to the Clinton Foundation, so I am not certain what the point is here. Perhaps they run a shake down like the United Way, but really, at the end of the day its kind of meaningless and silly to get too excited about it.

Perhaps someone that actually understands this issue, if there is someone of that ilk on DP, could explain to the rest of us why this is an issue.

PS - The reason the mainstream media is not covering this is because Trump is demanding their attention as he self-destructs in the public square. If the guy would just shut-up for a moment, the media might wander away from him and be more intrigued with this.

I'm saying that if everybody is doing it, then calling it "The Clinton Playbook" is a little unfair. You could call it "The Hyperpartisan Playbook," perhaps, or maybe "The Playbook for a Tortuous and Unbearable Election Season."

You might ask yourself that question.

Trump is unfortunate, but he's been a private individual all his life. Never served in government in any capacity. Hillary has been in government since she was able to say it, it seems. So if Trump is worse in every metric, I'd be anxious to know exactly what metric you're employing when you make that judgement. If your sexual proclivities are private, as we've been led to believe a la Bill, and now Hillary, what exactly about Trump is it that's worse than Hillary? And I hope you realize the sadness with which that last statement was delivered.

I've said something critical of Trump backers amongst the right who go on the attack against Trump's accusers while simultaneously urging us to despise Hillary on identical (and usually lesser) grounds, therefore, that means I blindly believe things said about Trump?

How many people with nothing to gain but a lot to lose by complaining against a lawsuit-crazed ***hole maniac all at the same time, following release of such a video does it take? Or do Trump followers really believe that anything critical of Trump is (1) false, and (2) only said because Hillary Clinton told the media to say it?

On every measure of comparison, Trump is worse. It's irrelevant how bad Clinton is if Trump is always worse.

Trump is worse because he has disastrous policy ideas, bigoted policy ideas, and a temperament not remotely suited to international relations. He's a terrible person and doesn't know how to run a country. Trump's entire campaign strategy has been revolving around being such a despicable person that nobody talks about how horrible his policies are.

Hillary Clinton could straight up stab a dude and she'd still be a better choice for president.

Everyone with half a brain has known about her corruption for years, and won't have anything to do with her. Only the brainless sheeple continue on unabated like mindless lemmings determine to vote for her. Actually Hillary voters are like the Minions, who mindlessly follow an evil villain.
