Is Chris Matthews the "Sean Hannity" of MSNBC?

We've seen the memos to the fox anchors on "how to report" the news. they all have to have the same message. Its how cults work.

to name a few. and toby, these are not things some random conservative said. These were things large numbers of conservatives believed. Now toby, last time I put some reality in front of you, you cut and run. Please don't do that again and address the topic.

I would say MSNBC is a whole bunch more overt for the Democrats. But I agree, Mathews is MSNBC's version of Hannity. So too is Madow and Schultz.

I don't watch MSNBC but I've seen a few clips of Chris Matthews lying through his teeth, Rachel Maddow lying, and I don't think Ed Schultz did anything but scream and lie. And then we're down to your real truth-teller, Al Sharpton. I'll cut you some slack and say you were lying but were just joking when you said you didn't hear lies.

Matthews will usually let the person get in a sentence or two before he interrupts. Hannity lets the person go two words before he interrupts. So I guess you could say Matthews is Hannity-lite. Both are d-bags.

I think you explained your own claim. When you didn't hear what you wanted to hear, you assumed it was lies. Again, democrats are not the equal but opposite of conservatives. I'm not pandered and lied to. Both networks are selling a product. The product is "Opinion". People buy from both networks. Both networks realize that the people who buy their product can't tell the difference between fact and opinion.

Are you ashamed of lying about Gov. Romney paying his taxes? Why? He didn't win, did he?

No, you're not lied to because no matter what they say, you'll believe. MSNBC is based on lies and proud of it.
 
Why does anyone agree to be interviewed by him when he interrupts every time anyone attempts to answer one of his questions. Talking over each other is now the norm on political talk shows like Morning Joe. It I aggravating.
 
While Hannity is a conservative, and Matthews is a progressive activist, there are 2 other major differences between them: 1. Hannity admits to being a conservative. Matthews, like almost every other progressive activist in the mainstream media, refuses to be honest about who and what he really is. Like other journalists, he pretends to be an unbiased, objective independent. I guess they feel it's more effective if you lie to 330 million Americans about who you really are. That way, hopefully, they will swallow the propaganda you feed them, while remaining ignorant of the daily ommissions of any news that's not complementary to democrats and progressives. 2. Hannity criticizes repubs when their ideas are bad or when they spend more money than they should. Matthews practically never criticizes dems, especially for excessive spending!

The media now have an all time low approval rating, on par with the approval ratings of the Senate and house under both dems and reps in the past 8 years.

Thank you Pat, most conservatives cut and run from that question. You at least attempted an answer but you seem a little confused. Lets review. I posted things pushed by the conservative media that were lies but conservatives obediently believed and in large numbers. You’ve simply posted a mish mosh of things that you don’t like. You’ve posted nothing equivalent to what I posted.

Lets go with the first one. Yes President Obama said you could keep your plan and he was wrong. But when he realized that was wrong, he apologized. He was blasted from both sides. Did you see MSN hosts saying “nuh uh, its all a plot from the media” as they tried to convince people they could? Just in case you don’t understand, you posted what you think is a lie. Show the concerted effort to convince people they could keep their plan and the large number of democrats who believed it even after President Obama apologized.

The “Harry Reid” one is another poor comparison (as they all were). It wasn’t the equal but opposite of “the president was born in Kenya” or “he wants to kill old people”. It was Harry Reid making the claim. He too was criticized by both sides for saying it. And he was criticized for being unapologetic afterwards.

So you are not showing anything pushed by MSN that is the “equal but opposite” of the conservative media. The left leaning media informs people of the facts. The conservative media informs people of a mish mosh of lies and spin to push their agenda. Its why you believed the “stand down lies” or that .gov server is a secure server or that the Clinton Foundation is a “money laundering op” . At some point conservatives need to wonder why their “predictions” are always wrong and ours are mostly correct.
 
Chris Mathews is a partisan that slants his commentary many times imo in a dishonest way come election time. I have respect for Morning Joe, one of the more honest shows out there. The rant Scarborough went on this morning about the hypocrisy of the Left media on the election rigging was brilliant.
