Trump RT and Larry King

See those are examples of RT faking legitimacy by having some stories that other news networks would carry. That is how it worked back in the Soviet days as well. However, what RT is, is a Russian Government funded anti-United States propaganda network and a candidate for the president of the United States was stupid enough to go on to a anti-US propoganda network that is funded by Putin's government and criticize US foreign policy.

While he is at it he may as well just make the full rounds and give Iran's Press TV an interview before heading over to North Korea so he can give an interview on their state news telling everyone how he thinks we should make South Korea pay up more for our protection.

It really has gotten just pathetic the extent to which Trump's turd polishers will shill for his bigotry and utter stupidity anymore.

His entire show is an "example."
Larry King is an American staple in media.

I'm sure there is stuff on there that is inherently bent on Russia vs. USA.
At the end of the day, this event is of no significance and it seems like a petty and sophomoric attack.
What he said in the interview was boilerplate Trump campaign PR, which they (RT) could lift and use regardless of his prescience on Larry King.

So many of you people claim to be on the intellectual and moral high ground, in comparison to Trump.
I'm waiting for you guys to actually occupy it.

That question really has nothing to do with the criticism though.
This same show interviewed Steven Hawking and also visited the NASA Jet lab, among various other people.
Hell there's a great interview with Steven Fry on there.

So what's the big deal?

I am not aware that they were foreign policy ignoranti looking to become President. If a candidate is so inexperienced that he does not know, what the consequences of shooting of your mouth on an enemy station with international viewership can do, I think it is in order to speak of a dupe.

First, it was Larry King, when did he suddenly become a Russian operative?
Secondly, it was Trump campaign boilerplate, which can be lifted at anytime from anywhere and be ran on any news station, at anytime.
Third, given all that, I think you guys are making a mountain out of a molehill.

This is the as usual situation though.
Folks claiming both intellectual and moral superiority over a candidate and person, use the same tactics they criticize them over.
It's sophomoric and petty nothingness.

To quote president Obama, from the 2008 debates with Mitt Romney, "the cold war is over."

What's more alarming? That Trump was so ignorant to be duped by a "friend" to do an interview podcast for RT or that he did know it was for RT and did it anyway.

And the content of the interview was Trump trashing the United States and their foreign policy and trashing our FREE press because he thinks they have been unfair to him.

You know one thing that our enemies do is watch/observe/analyze those who are running for office for character weaknesses and it is on those weaknesses that they will prey.

Donald Trump has shown all of us, if you say nice things about him, you're just the best thing since sliced bread. But if a journalist will call him out on his rhetoric, inconsistent, irrational statements he cries unfair. He even has gone as far as banning certain news organizations from his rallies and speeches because he didn't like what they wrote about him.

Putin has Donald Trump pegged. And that is why Putin has been complimenting Trump.

It is no secret that several of Trump's big donors, aides and advisers are heavily invested in state-run entities in Russia such as energy, media and banking.

One such adviser, Carter Page has huge holdings in Russia's state-run energy company Gazprom. Carter was in Moscow just two days before the Republican rules committee was to meet giving speeches bashing U.S. policies. Carter was part of the Trump Team that insisted the GOP platform soften toward Putin/Russia.

And then there is retired General Flynn, who has been on the payroll of Russia Today (RT). He is a frequent guest and has often criticized U.S. foreign policies. He is now Trump's adviser to foreign affairs and sits in on Trump's intelligence briefings. Yesterday at a rally, Trump stated "I just love General Flynn". Well Putin loves him too.

I believe the October surprises will have everything to do with Putin on both candidates.

When it is all over, every Republican that defended Trump, endorsed him will be running for cover. And Clinton will be so damaged that even if she wins her presidency will be riddled with scandal. A four year lame duck.

You know it seems like this is what happened. Maybe trump didn't know Larry king was on rtv and that's what caused this confusion but it shows a huge weakness in Trump and his oppo research team. If he didn't know this what else doesn't he know? If he doesn't know Larry king is on rtv, does he know who all the world leaders are? How easily can he get confused talking to the east Asian heads of state. What if he confuses the nuke codes with his computer password??? Not good

Well another day, another Trump controversy and this one is a doozy.

Most of the media were scratching their heads today as Donald Trump happened to appear on Russian state TV talking about the "corrupt" US media. The premise of this idea is rather easy to stipulate. Plus RT is not one to shy away from US criticism or hiring those who do. Yet that doesn't stop some millennials who are so anti-American that they view RT as a more trusting network to tune into. Yet now Trump's claim is that Larry King tricked Trump into doing the RT interview and he was never meant to appear on there.

To be honest, as flawed as Abby Martin and her tenure at RT was, it was more often more accurate than the garbage that came out of MSNBC, CNN, and Fox News, I would wager. (With obvious exceptions to her being, at the time, a 9/11 truther and nonsense like that.)

Doesn't that excuse take away from the point Trump was trying to make in the interview?? I guess RT isn't so much better huh?

The only reason this is a talking point is because Trump owes Russia millions of dollars, has because declared his love of Putin, and has stated that Russia should hack Hillary even more. That's what makes this amusing.

Edward Snowden went on actual Russian state TV, in Moscow, WITH Putin, to engage in purposeful, intentional anti-US agitprop.

Yet many I've seen bashing Trump over this consider him a hero. He's got a movie coming out about him.
