A clear example of how the media is biased against Trump[W:45]

Re: A clear example of how the media is biased against Trump

On a separate note, the way Keilar raised her eyebrows when she said "all of them" the second time guaranteed the rest of her career.

Re: A clear example of how the media is biased against Trump

Not really. The guy is from the stable of attorneys that Donald Trump uses to bully people. I think from the video I just watched that's all the guy can do. Really, "Says who?" repeated over and over after it's been answered is typical. Sounds like a grammar school bully, doesn't he?

Another interesting thing about this idiot Cohen, who has been Trump's attorney for many years (he works for the Trump Organization since 2006,) is that he's a registered Democrat who voted for Obama in 2008, he worked for a Democratic Congressman, worked for the Michael Dukakis campaign, and he switched parties to Republican a ways back so he could run for a NY City Council seat or some such role, only to lose and then immediately switch back to Democrat.

He's renowned for being a dick, wearing really fancy expensive clothes, and for being one of Trump's most trusted friends and advisors. He is really the one who spearheaded Trump's campaign.

This is a window into the kind of people Trump would have sitting in the Oval Office with him. This is one of the many reasons why I can't believe anyone is stupid enough to fall for Trump.

Re: A clear example of how the media is biased against Trump

Because that particular clip highlighted the funniest part of the interview. Cohen seemed genuinely unprepared for the possibility that there were...[air quote]..."polls"...that gauged who would be likely to win the election, or that Brianna Keilar would also be aware of these "polls." This singularly goofy demonstration by Cohen was a peek into the fantastic cluelessness that has come to define the Trump campaign.

Anyway, if you're actually interested about the rest of that interview, here it is.

Cohen: What polls show Donald Trump is losing? - CNN Video

So...the purpose of this whole thread is to take some exchange out of context for the purpose of laughing at Cohen. Okay.

As far as Cohen appearing unprepared, I guess that depends on the viewers biased viewpoint. Myself...as someone who isn't biased one way or the other...didn't see him as unprepared, rather as trying to get the lady to stop making statements and just ask her question. I find it amusing that, even when she started to actually ask her question, it still took a bunch of blather before she actually asked it. At that point, he addressed her question.

Because they obviously forced his surrogate to do this, making himself look stupid.

I'm certainly not surprised that a Democrat like Donald Trump would want to hire Democrat thugs to bully people.

You seem confused about the meaning of "out of context." Nothing about the meaning (and hilarity) of that clip is changed by watching it in the context of the full interview. But if repeating "says who?" over and over again despite her answering the question clearly, only for him to say "Okay" sounds like the apex of preparation to you, then good on you.

Like I said...bias. Your bias lends you to isolate one small part of the exchange and make biased interpretations and make fun of it. My lack of bias lends me to listen to the whole exchange and evaluate it in its entirety.

But hey...don't let me rain on your parade.

Carry on...

"Out of context". :lamo

I love it when someone reads one of my posts and gets the message right away.

So asking "Says who" repeatedly as if Keilar a)didn't know there was such a thing as polls and b)didn't answer his question, seemed like a savvy way to handle the situation?

Sounds like a reasonable way to respond since she seemed more concerned with her personal statements than with actually asking a question. After all, her job is to interview him, right? That doesn't mean expressing her views...but actually asking questions.

In any case, my opinion doesn't really matter in this thread since it's purpose is to laugh at Cohen.

From your post, it sounds like you're the one who doesn't understand the context. If I were you I would take the time to watch the whole video I linked to and study up on how all the parts in that conversation were put together.

However, you're not the first Trump supporter I've debated with and you won't be the last, and I know you won't take my suggestion, opting for the comfort of your own conclusion instead.

As usual, the anti-Trump propagandists run from the context involved with what is appearing to be just about everything Trump or his staff says

Cohen explained his comments after the fraudulent CNN hacks completed their manipulation:

https://www.yahoo.com/news/donald-trump-aide-on-awkward-exchange-with-cnn-anchor-i-think-i-unraveled-her-233522443.html

In his conversation with Yahoo, Cohen also said he does not trust the polls Keilar referenced during the broadcast.

“I completely disagree with the polling information,” said Cohen.

He specifically pointed to Trump’s poor numbers in the African-American community as evidence that the polls may be off. Cohen, who has been working with Trump since 2006 and describes himself as fiercely loyal, has helped coordinate some of the candidate’s African-American outreach efforts and said his anecdotal experience contradicted the poll data.

“When they say that Donald Trump has a 1 percent favorability amongst the African-American community, I know from my own interactions that that number is absolutely and unequivocally inaccurate,” Cohen explained. “I speak on a weekly basis to more than 100 African-American Evangelical preachers who are all committed to ensuring Donald Trump becomes the next president of the United States.”

Cohen went on to say the over 100 African-Americans he has worked with during the campaign are all convinced Clinton would “pander” to their community with “no ability or intent to follow through.”

“These same individuals have all met with Mr. Trump and have engaged in significant dialogue about issues that effect their specific communities. Unanimously, these African-American Evangelical preachers all acknowledge that Donald Trump is colorblind when it comes to race and is only interested in ensuring that all Americans have the opportunity to thrive and achieve the American dream,” said Cohen.

Cohen also pointed to the crowds at Trump’s rallies as a sign polls may be off.

“I think Mr. Trump and Secretary Clinton are substantially closer than the polls indicate,” Cohen explained. “The proof is the massive 20-, 25- and 30,000-person rallies that he is attending on a multiple-time-per-week basis. In all honesty, Hilary Clinton can’t fill a Starbucks even if they offered free ventis.”

Cohen concluded by disputing the reports that Trump’s staffing changes were the result of his frustration with the state of the race.

“No such thing. No such thing. Totally deny it. Inaccurate reporting,” he said.

Ummm...I did watch the video you linked. In fact, I referred to it specifically in my response to your post.

And you are not the first person around here to deride words, taken out of context, that Trump or one of his people have said...opting for the comfort of your own conclusions.

Re: A clear example of how the media is biased against Trump

Really, if you're going to try to be a Trump campaign spokesperson, you need to realize that either A) you are going to do a really bad job or B) your credibility is going to be shot.

If (A), well, don't get hostile. You'll want a job after this. If (B), however, make it entertaining. Go full Katrina Pearson. Accuse Hillary of holding media personalities children' captive, forcing them to attack Trump. Declare that Democrats are in league with Nazi Aliens. If you are going to defend an insane campaign, go insane :)

Go big, or go home!

(Lol @ going full Katrina)
