CNN Edits Sylville Smith Sister’s Call For Violence, Makes It a Call for Peace

What part of "I don't agree with the protests in Milwaukee " don't YOU understand?

The part where you understand the protests, your words not mine.

I support black, or rather home ownership and small businesses in general, because I think when people own property they become more responsible and can build "inherited wealth" and opportunities for their offspring.

Not a bad thing to support at all. But it takes work, effort, and making good decisions, which seems to be more the rarity than common place. In essence, it's counter to the government free giveaway programs though.

Was anyone shot because of Donald's comments? vs. is there rioting going on in Milwaukee?

Trump supporters are not going to suddenly disappear after the election. So yes, people are concerned what his followers will do after he loses the election...especially if they think it's rigged. I don't expect them to riot, that's not their style...but their propensity toward 'domestic terrorism' is a concern for anything and anyone that Trump didn't like....including Clinton herself.

When it happens, let us know. Meanwhile, liberals are burning Milwaukee down and hunting down white people, to kill them. I'm glad you understand how that's ok.

It's rather interesting to see so much evidence of the brilliance of the liberal media, and how perfectly they pegged their target audience. I'm left with images of these puppet masters trying to one up each other with outrageous lie and distortions, and exclaiming "it can't be this easy".

I understand their anger...just like I understood it during the Rodney King riots. I didn't agree with the looting or the violence then either...but I understood why they were angry and why they did it. It always seems to point back to the police.

Their anger over not being allowed to shoot a cop?

Please tell me this is a ****ing spoof. You're just being sarcastic, right? Because if this is true, and those ****wads pulled a stunt like this, they are lower than low.
Just when I started respecting CNN a bit again. :(

Built up anger is one thing. Does it make a difference if the individual incident is just or unjust?

It also takes education, decent wages and access to opportunities (ie: mortgage and business loans)...which many poor communities don't have. And too, without inherited wealth...poverty can persist in a family for generations. So while the white middle class were building their wealth through the GI bill and other government incentives...the black communities were "red lined" and systemically discriminated against by the government and didn't have the same educational and economic opportunities to build inherited wealth to pass on to their young as the white middle class did.

Being angry is not synonymous with rioting and looting. Anger at (alleged) police misconduct does not justify retaliation against whitey. You would likely sing a far different tune if whitey ever expressed anger in the same manner against black, thug infested neighborhoods. The problem is not that police shoot/beat thugs who resist arrest - the problem is that there are such thugs and the no snitch code in "the hood" protects them.

I think it's an accumulation of many, many incidents that over time can no longer be ignored.

How astonishing. CNN covering up for BLM thugs calling for violence.

I think they did a wise thing. The edited her message to be one of peace. Airing her calling for violence in the suburbs would have given her a platform that is not in the best interest of everyone.

I don't necessarily disagree with that. There indeed ARE issues that need to be addressed. But, as with Milwaukee currently, you have a black cop shooting a black kid who was unquestioningly a threat to said black cop, and the sentiment is to attack some other race/ethnicity? In what world does that make sense? I'm sorry, but it comes off as mindless opportunism.

What are the police supposed to do? Just let the kid be a threat and potentially harm someone?

Well, whitey tends to riot over losing a football game...or just getting drunk at a pumpkin festival or losing a surfer contest. But the media seldom reports that. I don't understand that kind of rioting ...but the looting and property damage is often just as severe as it is in Milwaukee. That's where whites seem to have more privilege to riot over BS than blacks do to riot over police abuse and unaccountability.

Then don't air it. But also don't LIE.

Then they shouldn't have aired it at all. What they did was dishonest. They are the media; they are supposed to be reporting on facts, not making up their own facts.

The media didn't report on the Keene pumpkin fest riots? Are you kidding me? It was reported on everything from the local to the regional to the national to the cable to the international news outlets.

Links for that (bolded above) seem to be missing. Show us some of these major multi-day white riots over BS.

Mad cause a police officer didn't get murdered by a thug???

The hell's is wrong with you?

Like I said...I don't agree with the protests in Milwaukee. The guy had a gun and he didn't drop it when he was told to...and according to the police video, he wasn't shot in the back. So I don't agree with the protesters reason for rioting...but I understand their collective anger over police abuse and unaccountability in general and that it reached a boiling point in Milwaukee.

We must watch different news outlets.

Go stuff your words in someone else's mouth, Renae.
