I think the bottom line is that depending on some media for accurate reporting on stuff like this may require more than settling for a headline.
This whole thing gave me a headache yesterday on another thread.
People were insisting on things that were belied by video and photos.
It was bizarre.
To me, the bottom line, all known things considered, is that we were supposed to believe that Hamid was picked out of the crowd for doing nothing more than sitting there in her Hijab.
Think about that ... wouldn't Trump want to be seen with Muslim attendees at his rallies?
I focus on this part of your comment primarily because I don't think Trump knew what the disturbance was really about. He has made the unsupported claim (like he's got any supported ones) that he will win the muslim vote. Trump is a demagogue who's pandered to bigots and now that that beast is loose probably has no control over it. This is the danger of demagoguery, of course. Secondarily, I ignored the rest of your comment because it's just another in a series of rationalizations by Trump apologists for his toxic rhetoric and their disgusting behavior.
