Newsweek senior writer deletes tweet accusing Ted Cruz of Nazism
In the whole time I have been on this forum I have never seen anyone use News Week as a source. Now I know why.
The reporter's name is Naz A r y a n. Ironic.
Alexander Nazaryan, a senior writer at Newsweek, has just deleted the above tweet, in which he compared the Cruz campaign to a legion of Nazis. “Ted Cruz has a strong ground game in Iowa,” wrote Nazaryan in the tweet, which got some critical play on the Web this morning:
This guy is a senior writer for Newsweek. But no, there's no media bias. https://t.co/UXjXEKyY0HUpon further reflection, Nazaryan decided that the late-night brainstorm was more storm than brain:

I deleted my tweet calling Ted Cruz a Nazi. Not fair to his totally decent supporters, as much as I dislike the man himself. That little clarification appears to hold fast to the contention that Cruz himself is a Nazi.

In his capacity as senior writer, Nazaryan hops around from topic to topic. Wine theft, for example. The GOP and national security; cancer treatments; black colleges. In response to some of the backlash over his posting, Nazaryan notes that his position at Newsweek allows opinion-mongering:
@nottersby Because part of my job is having opinions. One opinion I have is that Ted Cruz would be a very bad president.Indeed, his undeleted tweets express strong opinions about Cruz and other political topics:

It's time to shame not only Donald Trump, but those among his supporters who are openly bigoted and racist.
