I think it's different... In a debate I expect professionalism by the moderators...otherwise it isnt really a debate...

Idk why anyone would defend the CNBC clowns

I don't really know for sure if they are capable or not... but it has nothing to do with how they reacted to the debate moderators...

You know, I was just thinking a few weeks back how we need another liberal on this forum who labels himself a conservative, and then I cross paths with you.

The reason I think we need more like you, is because this forum should represent the American public and there sure are a lot of liberals out there pretending to be conservatives in order to make them look bad. Dishonest as they may be, they represent a fast growing segment of the American population and it would be nice to see this forum keeps up with the times

I know you've been here several months now, but welcome aboard.

As for the thread topic, I find it rather lame. There are far better ways to attack the right, than using Obama's words. If he were respected and revered, his words might mean something... but since he's been not only an economic failure for the country, a huge disappointment on foreign affairs/the world stage, and ended up being by far, the most dictatorial, as well as dishonest president of my lifetime, and possibly in the history of the republic, his words carry about as much influence with the American public as Nixon's did after Watergate.

and are much richer so...........

Actually I have been a Goldwater conservative and life long and proud member of the GOP........until the party nominated a recovering alcoholic of questionable mental acuity............

You see todays so-called conservatives are more so akin to fascists and despise the values of what it means to be a real conservative.........

Moderator question: Do you like chocolate?

Republican candidate: Yes, I absolutely love chocolate.

There we go. Problem fixed by throwing out the softball questions the whiners wanted. LOL.

I think they dealt with the moderators pretty well. The Democrats, on the other hand are so fearful of a tough question that they refused to have a debate at Fox. The OP is partisan not accurate.

..........is that so............and how do you know the mind of all of your all-inclusive dehumanized group of same thinking/feeling/acting democrats....?

I believe there may be some issues here which raise the issues of independent thought...........critical thinking.......and some concern about knowing the meaning of the posters reply......IMO

If you watch all the debates, you can see the types of questions and the motivations behind the media. it's pretty disgusting and even if you are a democrat you should be appalled at mass medias bias.

I'm curious, did the OP actually watch the debate?

I'm a liberal for the most part, and certainly don't plan on voting for any of the Repub candidates (except perhaps Trump if he happens to run against Hillary, just for the absurdity factor), and even I was embarrassed at the unprofessional way the moderators handled the questions.

It reminded me more of tabloid journalism than something you would expect to see from one of our "respected" news sources.

CNBC almost dropped down to FOX's level on that one. Of course, I hardly ever watch network TV so perhaps it wasn't anything too unusual. I really wouldn't know. Still, CNBC didn't do us (left leaners) any favors, they ended up looking petty.

NO.............I do not see it as you seem to believe I do........... However I find the GOP's bombastic name calling.........not dealing with any of the important issues facing this country.......proffered by the bevy of unqualified clown-like GOP hopefuls but as a sick joke and akin with WWE than serious politics..........a sad commentary on a one proud and well respected big tent political party.............

you seemed to get all the democrat talking points covered nicely within your extended ellipses though I am not sure they are appropriate....

You simply need to look at the list of questions asked to the democrats candidates vs what was asked of the republicans.

one was fawning the other was backhanded insults masked as questions and barbs intended to get people to fight.

I have no idea what you said so I will move along.

Which is no doubt why you had to quote a lame Obama remark.

The cnbc debate was a panel of troll moderators trying to get the candidates to fight.

DId you see the same with the democrat party debate?
