The moderator questions were targeted attacks on the GOP candidates. It was clear what their intentions were and they had nothing to do with the issues.

As if the only reason why we are not hearing the "policy wonk" in Trump and Carson is the moderators...
 
It might have been a petty burn by the President but it is a burn that got some traction. Well played.
 
IMO , the debate moderator should ask the questions and keep the debate moving along, NOT challenge the answers by the candidates. It should be up to other candidates to challenge the answers. No?

are you claiming you have the skill to read the minds of the moderators and know their evil intentions...............or is it something you heard some one else said and are just repeating it as if it is valuable information/observation/opinion

It's an observation. No such treatment of a Dem. candidate by debate moderators would be tolerated.
 
From "show us his long form birth certificate (in addition to the short form, newspaper announcements, and personal testimony)to prove he's not (a secret muslim) from Kenya!" and "YOU LIE!" to "Waaaah, I was asked a combatative question."

They should all be ashamed, Trump the most.



If they can't take it, they shouldn't have spent the last six years slinging it.

And I don't think they didn't handle them well... they actually tee'd off on the Moderators and got most of the public to turn against them as well...


And wasn't it Obama who bailed on a Debate because of one fox news contributors joke?

Yea, Obama's a wuss. He bailed. So your political argument is that, because Obama is a wuss, the Republicans also have a right to be wusses. Very original, I must say.

NOTE: I sincerely hope that Obama doesn't stick his head in a bucket of feces...... Wait, yes, I DO hope Obama does that, just so I can see the entire Republican field do it too. LOL.

NOTE2: 2 (or a dozen or so) faces full of crap don't make a right. LOL.

Just the fact that Obama joked about it is Ironic.... and that is how this subject is even being talked about...

They may be wusses, but I don't see how any of these situations portray that fact...
 
I was not a fan of how FOX News handled their debate initially and said as much in the thread about it, thinking the moderators did too much banter and the attention should be on the candidates not the host whose only job is to keep time and keep them on point... but the CNN and CNBC debates were so deplorably "Jerry Springer" that Obama's stupid critique is just that.

The candidates handled the CNN and CNBC asshats just fine, by calling out their bull**** and doing what they wanted.

It's just blatantly unprofessional and disgusting for the moderators to behave that way in the first place; the network biases could not have been laid out more plainly.

It reminded me more of tabloid journalism than something you would expect to see from one of our "respected" news sources.

CNBC almost dropped down to FOX's level on that one. Of course, I hardly ever watch network TV so perhaps it wasn't anything too unusual. I really wouldn't know. Still, CNBC didn't do us (left leaners) any favors, they ended up looking petty.

I agree, Free Think, that the moderators were an abomination.

But I also agree with the OP. If the best the candidates could do to handle the moderators was what they did...and then do all the crying and moaning that they did...

...how can anyone want one of them to be the person who has to deal with people like Putin.

Putin could eat those moderators for dinner...and spit their bones. They are amateurs compared with the wheelers and dealers on the world stage. Imagine one of them trying to handle Netanyahu of Israel or Xi of China...or for that matter, Neito of Mexico.

Yeah...the moderators sucked...and it astonished me that they conducted themselves the way they did.

But the candidates! Oh...that was a bunch of losers trying each to out-lose the other.

Did you listen to the Dem debate? If not you would have known they also got their fair share of "challenging" question from their moderators.............Have you heard any "crying or gnashing of teeth" from them?
