Trump Exposes Fox News, What Now?

Oh, and I'm very surprised to learn that you would so loyally and continually watch a network that you so appear to vehemently abhor? Strange...

Well given how much MSNBC conservatives seem to watch, it shouldn't be.

Could you please provide actual and real evidence that Fox created the Trump candidacy? That is, evidence that doesn't include hyperbolic and partisan juxtapositions and conflations to make an otherwise impossibly ridiculous assertion seem plausible?

Fox News Created the Trump Monster - The Daily Beast

The Republican Party and Fox permitted and encouraged Trumpian vitriol for years. All that talk over the years about birth certificates and Kenya and terrorist fist-jabs (remember that one?!) and the moocher class and the scary brown people and all the rest of it...all of it created a need for a Trump, and for other Trump-like candidates, to flourish. Now it threatens to overtake them. If they’re wondering who created Trumpism, I have someplace they can look. The mirror.

Rolling Stones, eh?

After the completely false rape story they fell for, didn't fact check, and still ran it, how is it this publication has any credibility or legitimacy?

Figure this story of their is about as well researched and grounded in facts as the last one, so in other words, not at all.
"You could see there was blood coming out of her eyes.

Blood coming out of her wherever." –Donald Trump, insulting Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly over questions she asked during the first Republican primary debate

"He’s not a war hero. He’s a war hero because he was captured. I like people that weren’t captured." –Donald Trump on John McCain

"I have people that have been studying [Obama's birth certificate] and they cannot believe what they're finding...

I would like to have him show his birth certificate, and can I be honest with you, I hope he can. Because if he can't, if he can't, if he wasn't born in this country, which is a real possibility…then he has pulled one of the great cons in the history of politics." –Donald Trump, three weeks before Obama released his long-form birth certificate in 2011

Stupid Donald Trump Quotes

Seems Taibbi's dead on with his article.

I love it when all the conservatives deny watching Fox. Kinda like ditto heads.

Interesting, looking at all the threads at DP, it seems liberal are more tuned to what's happening than cons.

Having said that, you responded with this after only one person made that comment and that person is listed as an independent. hmm

Begs the question WHO is the "ditto heads"?

Yeah, I guess even a blind squirrel will find a nut once in awhile.

Rolling Stones as a good solid source? Naa, they kinda blew that, blew any chance they had to be that with their poor journalism of the made up rape story.

I enjoy hanging out on forums that have a different opinion than me and that means i hang out on real conservative ones a lot of the time. On every conservative forum i have ever been on it is customary for them to deny listening to Rush and watching Fox news. Of course when Rush says something or Fox runs a story it is on the same forum immediately, even though they don't watch or listen. Of course all Rush's and fox fans are libs...i guess. Or maybe the ditto heads really are finding out what to think there. Its just so common maybe i jumped to an erroneous conclusion this time.

Irrelevant to this thread. Not doing your ditto head comment anymore justice now.

Took a lot of words to say the obvious.

I also find it fascinating how offended conservatives get when this is mentioned. Weird.

Keep digging deeper...No listed conservatives have yet responded to this thread.

Over the past few months I've read over and over here posts from Republicans blaming Trump's publicity and popularity and the 'reality show type nonsense' of the Trump campaign on Liberals and the 'liberal media'. You know, the Republicans and cons are all above this Trump circus.

LOL I guess that not true huh?

What a great article, part of their problem is promoting the extreme rather than a good conservative candidate. They promoted Trump bedcause his appeal to the extreme.

Is it me or we can see the Trump's HUUUUUUGE middle finger at the center of the picture!
Now I wonder whom is it directed at? hmmm!

No better place for the idiots at rollingstone than under Bias In The Media.
If you had read the article, you would have realized that it's just an opinion piece, so by definition it is biased. Except that he makes so many withering yet fact-checked remarks against Murdoch's strategy that it makes reading the article very worthwhile, all the more so that it is entertaining as well! In any case i concur with every ideas in this article!

The article is trolling, inept and puerile. Murdoch is out to make money. No one has any illusions about that. If anything, Murdoch has learned something from Trump about how to get an audience.
Well if it were the case, why do the conservative base keeps parroting fox's gospels to a tee!? Can't you see that Fox news is a brainwashing machine!

Stone is definitely biased.
You can be biased but that does not necessarily mean that the facts your bias is predicated on are wrong! The problem with Fox News is that the facts ALONE are conspiscuously incriminating!

No, I am attacking them all. I am not a FoxNews watcher or supporter. Just illustrating the absurdity of one claiming a moral high road.
Yeah well, at least Rollingstone has had the decency not to label the magazine, fair and balanced!

That's usually the rules in the media bias forum when it comes to criticizing Fox. Cons all over the place bemoaning shooting the messenger.

I'm just applying the same rules.
That the well-documented ad hominem fallacy! Those conservative dudes are lying themselves in circles! It would have been funny if it weren't so sad!

Here is all the evidence you need:

By the way, do you see the middle-finger that the ungrateful Trump is raising back at Fox News!? So funny!

Trump and the corporate media both need to to something.. Leave the political realm and never come back.

What part of "doesn't include hyperbolic and partisan juxtapositions and conflations" did you not understand. Plus, I'm asking YOU to prove it, since you're the one that made the assertion. If you can't, just say so. No harm, no foul.

That you ignore sources provided is your problem, not mine.

Yeah, I guess even a blind squirrel will find a nut once in awhile.

Rolling Stones as a good solid source? Naa, they kinda blew that, blew any chance they had to be that with their poor journalism of the made up rape story.

It happens. NYT, WaPo, FOX, Dateline NBC, 60 Minutes, they all bit on bad stories before.

Trump and the corporate media both need to to something.. Leave the political realm and never come back.

In order for that to happen you have to look as to why they entered the political realm to begin with.

Trump really started to gain in the polls when he started to talk about some of the reals concerns of the electorate that the establishment politicians wouldn't touch with a 10 foot pole. He spoke honestly and frankly, and didn't wrap up everything is dense political speak.

You want Trump and the corporate media to exist politics, then the establishment politicians need to be more responsive to the electorate, as well as addressing the concerns of the electorate, to be honest and frank in their positions and their conveying of them.

That's quite a challenge for the old guard, establishment politicians. They've grown up never thinking like this, acting like this, nor speaking like this. Not sure they are going to be able to adapt to this, nor am I sure how long this will be demanded from electorate.

So far, of course, no denying what was said, just attacking the source.

What was said in the moron's excuse for an article or what was being said here about Trump and FN? Because both are the tired fever dreams of idiot liberals.

I love it when all the conservatives deny watching Fox. Kinda like ditto heads.

I love it when liberals deny watching FN. They're so drawn to it. Hilarious to watch their tiny heads blow as they yell at the screen.

I'd have to grant you that. However, closer examination of the egregiousness of lapse and the impact on the innocent of the lapse.

In these, the Rolling Stones fake rape story was in a low class all on it's own.

Trump is very similar to Hillary and a supporter. No matter who Republican chose, they will not be "good conservative candidates" but "extreme right wingers out of touch", according to the media. McCain, Romney are just the two most recent examples. And periodically Huffington Post or somewhat will write an article about how stupid Republican voters are because all those candidates that they consider conservative, are actually rather liberal. Politics in America; Where Nothing is as it Seems.

Just like all the conservatives who watch MSNBC religiously. They are apparently big watchers of Al Sharpton from what I can tell.

"Real concerns"= Im rich. Build a wall (unrealistic). Deport all "illegal" immigrants (unrealistic). "Make good deals" (whatever the **** that means). "Make America great again" (whatever the **** that means).

So, liberals aren't the open minded ones who don't follow an echo chamber?

Besides RS is way, way behind on this, Trump supporters have given up watching FN. They're still pissed about the first debate and Ailes' reaction.

Not to mention that time after time the Rush and FN stuff is posted by liberals here as thread starters.
