Fuming Bernie supporters: Why is CNN deleting our comments?
Hundreds on Facebook complain about network’s pro-Hillary coverage

Seeing their comments repeatedly deleted by CNN, Bernie Sanders supporters are hopping mad today.
Already feeling the news network’s coverage had become rabidly pro-Hillary in the aftermath of last night’s debate, Facebook users leaving reactions on CNN’s page are now continually re-posting them, knowing they will be quickly removed. There are hundreds in a seeming battle with the network, with no explanation as to why.

Some users and messages appear to be specifically targeted, especially those accusing CNN of having conflicts of interest that make it naturally inclined to back Hillary.
In particular, they’re citing last night’s initial Facebook poll data showing Bernie had won the debate handily. They are claiming the network is now burying that information in today’s coverage.

But what they are experiencing now, will be quickly forgotten when it comes to bias against conservatives.

Really? Okay, when it comes to polls, how about researching the left-leaning and right-leaning polls taken before the 2012 election, and see which ones were more skewed? It's not hard - there's plenty of references with that precise study.

So I looked up the nascent controversy. There's not a whole lot out there about it yet, but I found something really interesting on Reddit:

While it's not out of the realm of possibility that they removed the poll because of their ties to Hilary, it also could have just been that they felt the results were inaccurate. Reddit was sending droves of people from here to vote for Sanders, skewing the results. Even the Time poll you use as an example was manipulated (4chan sent its users to vote for Webb, which is why he's at 32%).

In other words, there just might be a bit more to the story than you seem to think. I know, I know, you're SO eager to throw mud at anyone you personally think is liberal, but it would do you a world of good to learn to dig a bit deeper into the issues before you start playing the part of town crier.

That's where you misunderstand me - I'm just concerned with what's factual and accurate (which automatically disqualifies me to work for Fox, but that's another story)...and with trying to get the whole story before going off half-cocked.

You, on the other hand, did go off half-cocked (and eagerly so), without even really trying to get the whole story. You got the part of the story that fit within your personal echo chamber, and that's all you personally needed to believe it. The other side of the story need not apply.

I hope that CNN is going to provide a reasonable explanation. No legit news outlet should be "shaping" the news in this way; so long as reader posts don't violate the TOS, they should be posted. I hope the Sanders supporters are wrong about this.

I'd say there are a few things going on with this.

It looks like all this representation of an overwhelming consensus that Sen. Sanders won the debate is based on things like "online polls" and facebook/twitter whatever which simply do not represent public opinion. There's no sampling, so all that is easily open to extreme bias.

Secondly, the reason this is getting a lot of play on the Right is completely obvious — they're hot to promote Bernie and undermine Hillary.

Ask yerself why all the non-looney, non-lying-scumbag, respected right-wing pundits are saying Clinton won the important victory and may have effectively locked up the nomination. Because that's the call any competent "expert" commentator would make.

Sort of like when Ron and Rand Paul win multiple meaningless straw polls at CPAC.
Lots of crowing by the Paul-bots followed by both Rand and Ron being crushed in the primaries....and blaming the media.
I like Bernie, but if his supporters start blaming CNN for Bernie's probable primary loss, I shall be forced to refer to them as Bern-bots.

What do you mean? CNN has been censoring Disqus comments on their site since YEARS. Then they decided to abolish Disqus as it became too hard to monitor and control. It shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone they do the same on Facebook.
