In America today we have the left wing which is socialist and or liberal but moderates in the party can be counted on one hand. On the right we see a party that was moving left with a growing group we now call RINO's the power of conservatism had diminished to a point where the politics of dumb filled the air and saddened my heart.

What I'm talking about it conservatives gave up hope a started staying away from the polls opting to vote for no one instead of working to improve our party. Obama was the greatest thing that ever happened to our movement because he woke us all up. He proved once and for all what happens when you stay home and let the other side win.

Since Obama took office the right has witnessed an insurgence from the grass roots with ever more conservative members running and being elected to office on the local level and over the past six years we are seeing these insurgents move up the food chain as they set there sights on higher and higher office. This can be demonstrated to day in the congress with Boehner's problems holding the speakership.

The republican caucus has been changing with each election cycle, growing more conservative and as we view this election cycle we see that change moving forward as fresh blood challenges moderates at the local level. In Texas alone this cycle we see three strong conservatives challenging RINO republicans. As you move across the country you see it happening everywhere.

The establishment republicans have been heartened by the ever shrinking based in the democratic party nationwide as this has slowly taken place, but of late as prospects of an outsider winning the hearts and minds of conservatives has set in and the view of the house growing more conservative each election cycle which now looks to remove Boehner, Joy has turned to fear. RINO's in the Senate now know these popular new house members will one day challenge them.

This month we are seeing the good old boy network move right much to the chagrin of our RINO's in the senate but will it last beyond election day? This will depend on the make up of the house, if as has taken place in the last few elections the house continues to move more conservative as the RINO's fear it will and becomes a conservative body then the change will be lasting.

Even though most house members have until November to decide we are already seeing RINO's in the house announce they will not run for reelection. Many are waiting to see if the tea party mounts a challenge before making their decision. The trend is our friend what is important is that we never fall back to the politics of dump. If in the end a RINO wins in your district vote for him\her but in the primaries do all that you can do to take back our party.

We are winning, don't let the left wing media convince you of anything less

Conservative Republicans think that they're party is too moderate and that the democrats are all on the extreme left.

Liberal Democrats will tell you that they're party is very moderate and that the Republicans are all on the extreme right.

And the world goes on.

I agree with you completely, Mitch.

I hope the GOP finally gets the message and nominates the most right wing person (persons) available.

What they need is someone like Ted Cruz leading the ticket...and Sarah Palin as his running mate.

I think she would be of great help in steering his campaign, since she has the experience.

I can tell you this...I'd be willing to donate to have that come to be.

Meanwhile, congress critters of either variety continue to grow the federal government and increase the national debt.

They'll nominate some unelectable clown and then moan about the idiocy of the voting public for electing a Democrat.

Here are some inconvenient facts for you. 30% of Americans are conservative, 20% are liberal, and 50% are moderate. Who you call RINOs are really moderate republicans. Although you may disagree with them on many issues the fact is that you need their votes to win election. So you need them in the Republican party. If you treat them like outsiders you will lose their support.

What is wrong with someone who is conservative on the budget and the military but is liberal on social issues? Can't you accept different points of view in the Republican party? At least this is better than another Obama in the white house.

And Obama didn't win because Republicans stayed home. Republican demographics such as white older Americans again had a higher turnout than democratic demographics. The problem is that minorities are increasing, and more Americans are millennials a group that is strongly democrat. And despite your claim the base of the democratic part is not shrinking, it is growing. There are more millennials, and more minorities than ever.

It is understand that simple-minded Leftists will vote for reasons other than competence or appropriate experience yet they can still win elections. The reason for that is that the Democrats get out the vote, even when many of their electorate are deceased. Those conservatives who stayed home on the election day because Romney was a "RINO" were just as foolish, and irresponsible, as those who voted for Barrack Obama on election day.

You can see, despite her record of lies and incompetence, that many leftists are still prepared to vote for Hillary Clinton. This should be a national disgrace but it is accepted by the media and much of the voting public. Hillary believes she should win because she is a woman, as weak and foolish an argument as someone claiming they should win because electing men is a great American tradition. Yet the left will still buy this craziness.
Or they think Socialism is what made America great and will make it greater. These are poorly educated people, no matter how many years they spent in school.

Nominating the most acceptable conservative leadership is only half the battle. The other half is getting the people out to vote, perceived RINO or not. Any RINO is far superior to any Democrat available for the Presidency.

Firoina/Rubio in any order.

They'll nominate some unelectable clown and then moan about the idiocy of the voting public for electing a Democrat.

And Sarah. When asked difficult questions, a ventriloquist will be needed. While her lips move...................

Mitt Romney is a "clown"? He was, and is, far superior to Barack Obama and history clearly shows who was right, who was wrong, and where the ignorant portion of the electorate lies. (Hint: It includes those who believe Mitt Romney is a "clown").

The Republican party, according to many studies, surveys and such are mainly white dominated. This has been ongoing for decades, yet demographics are changing.

This is important to those who feel race and self interest rises above fiscal and personal responsibilities and national security.

Do you think Black people. Hispanics, Asians, etc. have no interest in balancing budgets, hope and education for their children, a cleaner environment, safer cities, national security, etc? What's with all this racial crap coming from the left rather than discussing policies that are good for all Americans???

Half of the voters in the USA are dumber than the other half!

If Eisenhower was alive right now lots of GOPers would call him a RINO.

"Better days are coming."
~ But not for today's out of touch, running out of time, GOP.

The point is why Republicans do poorly with minorities.

The point is why Republicans do poorly with minorities.
Any idea why that is?

I have one! It is because Democrats, guided by hard Leftists, tend to claim a 'War on Women, 'War On Backs', 'War On Hispanics', 'War On the Elderly', or a war on anyone else who they feel might be susceptible to this divisive propaganda. They will say or do anything to pit American against American and everyone should understand that.

Using your original quote. This belief was not and cannot be solely laid at the feet of Democrats.

Half of the voters in the USA are dumber than the other half!

It must be nice to acquire self esteem from group identity. Then again, it must be miserable to need such.

You might disagree, but I think it's because minorities know which party serves their interests better.
Do you think the Democrats have served Black people well? How so?

Using your original quote. This belief was not and cannot be solely laid at the feet of Democrats.
Do you think it was Republicans who claimed there was a "War On Women"? Or you can have a quick look at this crap as well. Republican Racism

How is any of this pulling Americans together toward a common goal or purpose?

How can someone be miserable and have self esteem at the same time? Fill us in.

Easy. One can be a miserable, hateful, ignorant, uneducated buffoon and still garner self worth from group identity. How do you think organizations like the KKK manage to exist? They offer self esteem to people without. "Join us and you're one of the smart ones!" It works for cults of all sorts.

Frankly, anyone relying on self esteem/worth from group identity is lacking.

The problem is the same for both parties - politicians that don't walk their campaign talk. If a candidate says they're going to fight something or do something if elected we expect them to actually do so if elected. Or at least die trying. But then they get elected and it SSDD (same **** different day).
