Trump: No More Fox

Because O'Reilly doesn't always pander to the wingnuts (I hesitate to call them conservatives), they seem to be excommunicating him. The far right demands absolute ideological purity, and failure to toe the wingnut line 100% of the time means you are a closet liberal.

It would be funny to see Trump and O'Reilly on his show together. It would be a clash of mega egos, and the base would probably cheer Trump on. How would O'Reilly handle that... "cut his mike, cut his mike?" Maybe O'Reilly is nervous to interview Trump. Trump is likely to get up in his grill like he did Jeb Bush and Rand Paul.

Wouldn't be hilarious if Trump wins the White House and the GOP is alienated from their own cable TV voice?

Fox would deserve it. They helped create this monster.

What time zone is that Twitter screen grab from?
As I asked; Aren't Fox and Trump both on EST?

The screen capture is from the main page as it gives the estimated amount of time that has passed since it was posted.

Follow the link given, exit to the main page and read the amount of hours passed on that specific tweet to find the amount of time which has passed.
It is presently the sixth tweet down.

See if it matches up with what Fox claims.

"At 11:45am today, we canceled Donald Trump's scheduled appearance on The O'Reilly Factor on Thursday, which resulted in Mr. Trump's subsequent tweet about his 'boycott' of FOX News.

The time on a screengrab from Twitter would be from wherever the user was that takes the screengrab. I just called up that Tweet from my computer here in New York and it says he tweeted it at ... 12:02 p.m.

https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/646716373473853442?ref_src=twsrc^tfw

Whoever took the screengrab of his tweet at 9:02 a.m. (which appears to be you) was doing it from the West Coast. Time zones, Excon. You should learn them.

Maybe you should learn what you are talking about.

Unfortunately you are wrong as I am not on the West Coast.

I have another computer set to EST and it does not say tweeted at 12:02.

Conservatives, and I mean those thoughtful ones who deserve the designation, the heirs of William F Buckley, will be drifting into the Democratic Party in hope of distancing themselves from the Trumps and Cruz's and the whole travelling roadshow that the Republican Party has become.

Maybe you should learn what you are talking about.

It doesn't matter what time you have the computer set to. It matters what time you have Twitter set to. There's a time zone option under settings.

This is a screengrab I just took of Trump's tweet from my comfy chair here in New York. I even made a little note on it so you'd know it was from me.

You're either wrong, or lying. Pick one.

It is part of the usual Trump marketing. Some people will see it as Trump being anti right, middle of the road. His fight with Fox will be proof of it. He knows how to play the weak minded on both sides.

For over a year, it's been said that O'Reilly has turned away from Conservatives and his scam is that he has far left guests on that he lets spew their insane talking points and he pretends to grill them, but really has turned into a Liberal himself. That would be why Trump has turned away. Neither O'Reilly nor Megyn Kelly are respected by Conservatives.

If he dumps Fox News. Then he will be going on other more "liberal" shows. I fail to see the logic in your reasoning...

i wish a democrat had the courage to to stop going on FOX news its nothing but propaganda, its not even legal to call it a news show in most countries

I suggest you go to dictionary.com and look at the definition of propaganda.

I suggest you go to dictionary.com and look at the definition of propaganda.

Propaganda- information, especially of a biased or misleading nature, used to promote or publicize a particular political cause or point of view.

thats literally the best definiton of FOX "news" i could think of

I pick you are lying or are wrong.

He was on the East coast when he tweeted it.

As for screen grabs.

Two separate computers. One Win Seven the other Win Vista. I set each to a different time zone. Win Vista to EST, Win 7 to CST.

Here are the screen grabs of each.

EST

CST

Again.
He was on the East coast when he tweeted it.

I can do this with Win 10 also and set it to West Coast time if you like.

As Kobie already mentioned, it doesn't matter what time you have your computer set to. Only what time you have your twitter account to. To further my/Kobie's point, I created a Twitter account just to see this option and take a screenshot to spell it out for you a little clearer (I'm sure ignorance is the issue, not an inability to admit that you're wrong...)

Isn't technology / reading comprehension fun???

twitter.jpg

Also notice how in both of your pictures, which you have clearly labeled "CST" and "EST" yourself, have the same time. Don't you think that would be a little fishy if it were dependent on the time of your local machine/operating system?

It does not matter to which time zone your operating system is set to. It matters what Twitter is set to.

If you have the logged-in Twitter account set to West Coast time, then the tweets will show up on *gasp* West Coast time.

He tweeted it at 12:02 p.m. Eastern time. Period. End of conversation. You simply don't know what you're talking about.

Knock off the BS. It is uncalled for as much as his bs was, which is why it was thrown back at him.
If you don't want it, don't dish it.

I said, it was odd and then I asked; Aren't Fox and Trump both on EST?
That was the premise.
So despite your condescension, thanks for bringing more details to light.

As for the post you quoted. And?
Other than stating trump was on the East Coast when he tweeted it, I made no other claim with the information provided.
Especially as I was just trying to show that hours passed changed, which it did. Unfortunately in my haste I didn't immediately catch that it changed in the wrong direction for EST, apparently neither did you. iLOL

As Kobie ... /Kobie's point,
After all the dishonesty by folks on this site I don't trust anyone but those how have established their credibility in their postings. Kobie, because of the constant bs isn't one of them.
For all I knew Kobie could have very well edited the image (like he did) to show what he wanted.

Regardless. Prior to your posting I discovered support for what Kobie said that wasn't reliant on his word.

It was another image showing a 12:02 time stamp, which can be found at the following link.
Donald Trump Not Going On Fox 'For The Foreseeable Future' - NewsHounds

I created a Twitter account just to see this option and take a screenshot to spell it out for you a little clearer
What time did it show before you created an account, 09:02 like I showed?

Also notice how in both of your pictures, which you have clearly labeled "CST" and "EST" yourself, have the same time.
iLOL
It was already known that 09:02 wasn't changing.
It was the hours that had passed since it was posted that was changing, which was shown by the images.
The CST image matched up perfectly with what was believed to be happening. Had I immediately caught the discrepancy of the change in the EST image I wouldn't have posted it and instead would have probably found conformation of what Kobie said sooner.
Unfortunately that is what happened.

So again, despite your condescension, thanks for bringing more light to the subject.

iLOL Yes Kobie, it turned out you were eventually partially correct, as confirmed by another source.
As they say, a broken clock is right at least once a day. Good for you.

You simply don't know what you're talking about.
D'oh!
Yes, I do know now what I am talking about.
And just like you, my first assumptions were wrong, which unlike you is why I stated I found something odd, asked a question and originally provided substance.

Whoever took the screengrab of his tweet at 9:02 a.m. (which appears to be you) was doing it from the West Coast. Time zones, Excon. You should learn them.

Now try to explain why it says 09:02 for those who are not logged-in/have a twitter account and are not on the West Coast. D'oh!

I don't particularly care why your computer shows those times, since you just admitted I was "partially" (read "completely") right about the time the tweet was made. Which, of course, blows your inane theory about how Trump struck first completely out of the water. iLOL indeed.

If I had to guess, I'd say tweets default to West Coast time if you're not logged in because Twitter is headquartered in (surprise!) San Francisco. But it certainly has nothing to do with your operating system. (iLOL again)

No, partially as stated and shown.
You were wrong as I am not on the West Coast.

There you go being wrong again. I found something odd and asked a question.

And no one yet has proven Fox or Trump correct, not even you.

You are utterly ****ing hopeless.

:lamo :lamo If he think being "treated unfairly" now, how does he think its going to work when he is President?

Hilllary won't even show up on Fox anywhere. I suggest you begin worrying about Hillary, she has huge problems.
