MSNBC cancels 3 Liberal Shows

Alex Wagner’s show was one of three cut by MSNBC this week. “The Ed Show” and “The Cycle” were also canceled as the network moves away from liberal commentary. I guess there starting to realize elite liberal talk doesn't sell as no one wants to hear it :)

I haven't heard of those shows, but I can tell you that liberals don't typically enjoy having their opinions shouted at them.
 
I heard Alex Wagner ended her show with a word that might describe her show and why it was canned.

When fighting for ratings and viewership that is not interested, it is expected this will be the eventual outcome.
 
I guess the Democats won't win the White House in 2016 because of this. :(
 
How in the hell did Sharpton survive?? Oh wait, silly question.

I cant speak for the cycle or Alex Wagner since I never watched them, but the Ed Show just wasn't very good. I like Hardball and I like the guy that comes on later with the glasses, but Ed and Sharpton are just unwatchable. Liberal shows can survive, they just need better hosts.

Good. Now we just need them to end all the liberal shows, then Fox to end their conservative shows, then could they both just report the truth without any bs to the best of their ability? It would probably become pretty boring and the general intelligence of the nation would increase 5 points but we'll never know.

Perhaps the biggest problem is their liberal commentary required too much commitment to hear. Their target audience is likely more entranced with quick headlines and bullet points that don't required much thought. If the issue can't be explained in a tweet, it's too complex to register.
 
Maybe cuz MSNBC's audience isnt essentially the retired community...

Liberals don't need to hear a cable station to guide them unlike Fox who mascerades as a news source.

Fox is a republican network that has been repeatedly known for lying and altering their reporting. They are not a news source that is fair and balanced as they claim.
