I am absolutely disgusted and angry at the back-stabbing bastard, Turnbull. I am, or rather was, a committed Liberal Party voter (the Liberal Party in Australia is closer to your Republican Party and the Labor Party is closer to your Democrat Party), but I will NEVER vote Liberal Party while Turnbull is the leader. He is a Lefty, and rightfully belongs in the Labor Party, so the Liberals are no longer conservative. I like Tony Abbott, a good decent man, probably too decent to be a politician. To vote Labor, or worse still, Green, is unthinkable, so my vote will now go to ALA - Australian Liberty Alliance, a party that will launch next month. No, they won't win a lot of seats, if any, to begin with. It will take time to build up and get candidates elected, but in all conscience, I can no longer vote for a party that is not conservative.
You have to understand that from the moment Tony Abbott and the Liberal Party won government, there has been an incredibly strong media campaign orchestrated to oust him from office. He is hated by the left media, and most media in Australia is left wing. Turnbull, the back-stabbing bastard who is now PM, had the portfolio that included the ABC or, more correctly known as the ALPBC, a very, very biased pro-Labor Party media outlet that is funded by taxpayers.
There is no doubt that people-smugglers will have watched what happened politically here, and be rubbing their hands with glee. The Liberal Party under Abbott stopped the boats completely which stopped the drownings at sea (their policy saved lives). The Labor Party wants open borders, so now, the boats will start again, people will drown at sea and Labor will refuse to bare responsibility for those deaths as they have for the 1200 illegals who died under their watch.
I was so angry that I sent an email this morning to my Federal Member of Parliament (this is a safe Liberal seat) and the response from her was predictable and very disappointing, prompting me to reply. I don't expect an answer! Australians can't win; if they vote Liberal at the next election they are pretty much voting Labor and we have to vote, it's compulsory. Australia is now screwed and, if Labor get in next year, totally screwed.
A truly sad day for Australia.
