NK's Kim Jong Un Is So Fat He Broke His Ankles

Kim Jong-un 'so fat he has fractured his ankles' - Telegraph

Unlike other members of North Korea's political elite, for whom a sudden absence from public life often means they have been killed or imprisoned, in Kim Jong-un's case it is said to be down to Elvis-style weight gain as a result of his unhealthy diet.

He is now believed to weigh at least 20 stone as a result of his fondness for heavy drinking and imported Swiss cheese, which he gained a taste for while at school in Switzerland.

That must be a hell of a lot of cheese he's eating... the big thing sweeping Asia right now is Korean spicy fried chicken (similar to Buffalo wings but the sauce has no butter, its more of a spicy, sticky sugary kind).

OR, and this is a crazy idea, that's just a cover-up for some more serious medical emergency.

It doesn't seem likely that NK leader would publicize that he is in hospital for the exact thing he is in hospital for especially if it's this minor. Breaking your ankles, bah, I did that twice as a child. Not due to being fat, due to playing manly sports like football and jumping everywhere... being bad at them at them, particularly landings... but still. 2 weeks of being patched up is no biggie.

So my guess is that he has a more serious medical thing and he is using the ankle thing as a cover-up. Tell the people that there is something wrong but something minor. As to not seem weak or vulnerable.
 
Kim Jong un is the epitome of inferiority. Anything that hurts him makes me excited.

Whatever the case, it appears Kim Jong-un is headed for a very short life span. Which means we will be dealing with a new lunatic in short order, we just do not know who yet.
 
I am not knocking this thread PoS.

But come on Telegraph? He was so fat, that his ankles just shattered under his weight? Riiiiiight. He was just walking along and 'CRACK'...his ankle just broke? Unless his weight ballooned to 500 pounds, I ain't buying it.
There are a staggering number of fat people in the West, especially North America. I don't recall hearing large numbers of them just fracturing their ankles strictly due to their girth. I actually do not recall hearing it ever happen (though I imagine it must have sometime).

Were that the case, then the NFL would have to have forklifts on permanent standby on the sidelines of their games so that they can remove all the 300+ pound linemen whose ankles 'shatter' under their weight after every few plays.

'And that was a great gain by Murray on that off tackle run. Unfortunately, the entire Dallas Cowboy offensive line appear to have broken their ankles and are writhing around on the turf in agony.'

If the 'Sexiest Man Alive'(Per The Onion.) would eat the same diet that most North Koreans eat he would lose that excess weight quickly.
 
I recently read he was in poor health, but the article didn't explain why. This is really interesting. I wonder if he has a food addiction or something. Usually if you are unhealthy because of weight, it's not that big of deal. You can go out in public and diet. I am curious to know how fat he looks. He is a short man.

In any case, let's not send Dennis Rodman back over to exercise his little fat ass.

This is a good point. He didn't look morbidly obese the last few times we saw him. He looked average. How fat do you have to be to break your ankles?

We can speculate what is really going on with his physical health, but I wonder if he has some serious mental health issues and high stress. That could weaken him and make him incapable of functioning day to day, and if he does have a serious physical health condition, a mental health condition would worsen it.

20 stone is about 280 lbs US. So he's got some sort of issue with his bones or joints that caused such a breakage if that happened at all. 280lbs of normal activity will not break someone's ankles - that would mean every US football Offensive and Defensive Lineman would break their ankles all the time - and NOT on the football field either.
 
One can never be certain about news out of NK.

Is this story possible? I dunno maybe.

But many people thought the dog feeding story was true as well and there was nothing to support it.

I have no doubt that he's in hospital, that much I think is certain.

But exactly why... well broken ankles is definitely up to interpretation.

A heavy guy, drinking nothing but fine alcohols and cheeses probably has many other issues besides ankles to worry about.

His cholesterol would be through the ****ing roof, it's not as if anyone in their right mind would tell him to get on a treadmill.

If he dies... It would be absolute chaos among the political elite.

Well Im not sure if the article is 100% true but according to it, unlike NFL players he wasnt in shape and went on a whirlwind walking tour wearing platform shoes that first sprained his ankles and was later determined to have fractures in it when he continued.

I am ignorant on the politic dynasty in North Korea. I just know that Kim has been killing a lot of powerful people around him and in his family.

What would likely happen if he died?

It's difficult to say.

Because we know so little about how the country actually runs, it may be hard to figure out what that power vacuum would cause at the top level.

The Kim Family is pretty dynastic, but I'll bet any money in a situation in which the leader does not have a named and appropriate replacement, there'd be more than a few top Generals who could take over in a swift bloody coup if given the opportunity and play it off as a murder by a rival general.

All I'm saying is it'd be pretty messy because there's no clear successor to Un.

Dr. Oz had women that were a lot fatter than kim jon un on his show and they didn't break their ankles by walking about.

he doesn't look average, he is fat, like, maybe about 140-160kgs (300+ pounds). That's 3x the normal weight of man his size. but the ankles and the feet in general are the toughest members of your body so I doubt that's the issue.
I do think it's a coverup.

Could this be the end of the Kim dynasty? There are no male heirs. But he does have a younger sister with whom she has the same father as Kim jung Un.
What will China do? The power players behind the throne are all men in their 60s or older.

Again it's difficult to say.

In reality we have no idea how the country actually runs.

How much Un has to do with daily government operations etc.

All I know is that the entire state is built around the Kim family, without it... I'm not sure how the facade of any semblance of government stands up in the eyes of its people.
