Nobody can deny that modern private military companies remain to be an ideal instrument for pursuing neo-colonial policy in the world. And the example of their exploitation by USA in Azerbaijan is not an exception from this rule.
It is obvious that mercenaries from US private military company Blackwater, who under the guise of Islam terrorists have tried to attack US Embassy in Baku, in fact, should did all possible in order to show all in Azeri leadership the necessity of reliable security protection of the whole Azeri oil infrastructure, made by US military servicemen.
In other words, US military professionals were put in to strengthen US hand in oil sector of Azeri industry, because it is well-known that USA pretends to sole control over Azeri (rich of oil) strip of the Caspian Sea. It is clear that because of it Washington isn’t interested in involving NATO forces for protection oil pipelines and derricks on Azeri territory. It is more fruitful for USA to draw upon own resources, namely, combat power of own private military company Blackwater, operated in Azerbaijan now.
But in this case BTC pipeline turns into a peculiar kind of “energy hook” for EU and neighboring Turkey…
