If the UK's tab the Sun's reporting is accurate, contestants will be left in the Siberian wilderness
for nine months armed only with knives, and the rules, doubtless for the sake of titillation, state that rape and murder will be allowed (with the caveat that Russian criminal laws will still apply).

"Everything is allowed. Fighting, alcohol, murder, rape, smoking, anything.” https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/2404086/russian-reality-tv-show/

What will those rascally Russians think of next?

Hunger Games is a rip-off of Battle Royale. It's a sign of the lack of journalistic integrity that the piece didn't mention it. Furthermore Humans are the most dangerous game. To attack each other when there are bears or wolves that could be killed more easily is pure foolishness. I'm operating under the assumption that all the individuals participating have extensive wilderness survival experience without the typical creature comforts. If they don't, this could be a fantastic experiment in seeing if people will Darwin themselves out of existence.

Pity Putin can't show off his vim and vigor in the games. I'm sure he excels at all those good things. His men do. at least.

They will figure out in season one that they just need to sneak some ricin in the heel of their shoe to end the game swiftly.

I wonder if I can access this through one of my Euro pirate TV sites.

I predict there will be about the same amount of reality in this show as there is in The Young And The Restless or Z-Nation.

Are you telling me Z-Nation is fake?!

Argh. I can't believe it!

I liked the "Fighting, alcohol, murder, rape, smoking, anything" and how murder and rape are in between alcohol and anything. ;)

Yeah I noticed that. Sort of like "There may be murder, or rape! Possibly even smoking!!"

What about Amish Mafia?!

At the time of the reports' circulation in mid-December 2016, material relating to Game2: Winter consisted of a small Facebook page and interviews with its creator. Despite multiple misleading headlines, the waiver described by news outlets explicitly stated that contestants on the show would be obliged to "obey the laws of the Russian Federation."

I don't often link Snopes, but they seem to make more sense here than tabloid websites.

Yeah, when I first heard about that show I had to look into it and do a little research. I'm no expert on the Amish but that BS sounded about as UN-Amish as anything I could possibly imagine.
