RIP Alan Thicke

Sixty nine is too young...or is it? (just watch Ballad of Narayama...oy.)

RIP

Playing hockey with his son. Not a bad way to go I suppose. RIP.

I preferred to go the way James Gandolfini did.

RIP, Allan- I liked to watch Growing Pains when I was a kid.

He came up with various hit TV jingles

He seemed like one of the really good guys in Hollywood. I can't think of a better way for someone like him to go than playing the sport he truly loved with his son.

"Growing Pains" star Alan Thicke has died of a heart attack at age 69.

Alan Thicke Dead: 'Growing Pains' Actor Was 69 | Hollywood Reporter

2016 claims another one. He's certainly not in David Bowie or Prince's class, but he was a well-respected actor and TV host.

I loved his show, even though it had that Cameron kid in it but the show was well written, well acted and often very funny. It was one of those shows you never wanted to miss.

Goodbye Alan Thicke may you rest in peace.

I was very angry/disgusted with the newspapers down here though, they described him as "the dad of" rather than respecting and celebrating him in his own right.
