In the movie Casino, he actually represented Tony Spilotro rather well---at least from what I can tell when watching the R/L doc on Tony.
Yes, he did. The Los Angeles Times ran a chilling series on Spilotro in the wake of this mayhem, before he became well known. Nasty, scary dude. I mean, what sort of monster would kill a person by sticking his victim's head into a vice and crushing it until the guy's eye popped out? I remember feeling giddy when I found out Spilotro had been beaten to death, along with his brother, and buried in a shallow grave in an Indiana cornfield outside of Chicago. Poetic justice. It's the same sort of feeling I get when some al-Qaeda or ISIS scumbag gets hit with a Hellfire missile.
