Toyota's You don't own me commerical

I think Toyota created a very special commercial.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p2Nm_2fqRdE

This is the epitome on the millennial generation, special snowflakes who take every "micro-agression" as a personal insult to the core of thier being. They would rather live in thier parents basement til they are 30 than take a low level job and work thier way up. **** them they deserve the cheap piece of **** that is a Toyota.

(remembering the $300 I spent on a cheap POS '63 Ford Fairlane with a 289)

That song put to better use:

Did the commercial need to be that sonically annoying?

Great idea, mostly botched.

Huh? What are you saying? That you need to drive an expensive car to be a real man?

My Highlander is awesome. 4 year, 72k, only tires and brakes and fluid changes. Certainly better then the Chryslers and Chevy's I ahve owned. Toyota, Nissan, Honda or Subaru for me.

No, it has absolutely nothing to do with that. What an odd little fantasy that is.

Toyotas are fantastic automobiles, but a Camry is likely too much car for you.

meh, I wouldn't believe all the stereotypes.

The irony of 'independent' people going 6 years into debt to purchase a vehicle that will likely be a piece of **** before it is paid off and now HAVING to work those extra hours and put up with other peoples **** or risk losing that vehicle outright...surely thats not lost on anyone?

I know my current old cars will still be on the road when these new pieces of garbage are in the junk yard.

It makes me feel good.

Obviously he means cheap as in quality, not price.

Toyotas are way over priced.

Some of you guys are idiots.
Toyotas are perfectly good, if not great freakin cars. Especially for the price.

Far cheaper to maintain and last much longer than most American made cars.

Yep, nothing wrong with Toyota vehicles. Ford trucks are nice, but have you priced them lately? Please.

Oh, and classic cars are great, but they ain't exactly inexpensive these days, or safe.

My GMC Sierra 1500 4X4......oil and air filters only since 2004.

Brakes at 95,000 miles last month.

As for the commercial, I certainly don't get what makes it special. :thinking

freedom
not having to work under someone else's thumb

I didn't get that from the commercial. Nor do I get what that has to do with Toyota.

Freedom comes in two wheels - not four.

You want freedom:
