NOT NICE ‘SNL’ Star Calls Ann Coulter a ‘Racist C*nt’

The environment... of a comedy central roast? Have you never, ever watched one before?

my guess would be never watched one before or watched this one.

A roast isn't a safe space, brah. Maybe you should stay on campus.

:lamo

You made me spit out my cheerios hahahahaha well played

Some people lack class and perspective regardless of the environment. These so called "comedians" certainly do.

Everyone ad homs everyone. That's the whole point.

Finally watched it last night!!!! It was hilarious!!!!
Like I said earlier it was a pretty basic roast, funny with no holds barred jokes slinging left and right for everybody!

Anybody that thinks this roast was magically different or somehow Ann was an unfair or exaggerated target simply has never seen a roast, doesn't understand them or is biased themselves and thats where the issue was.

The only bad think that actually happened to Ann was she bombed when it was her turn.

In fact if I had to ignore the history of what happens at a roast, how rough they can get with their jokes and ignore reality Id say the things that I would find harse have nothing to do with ANN. If i was going to be oversensitive and act like all these things were real the repeated statutory rape jokes, Manning is basically retarded jokes and the two worst were the AIDs jokes about Sheen who wasnt even there and about Pete Davidson Fathers who dies during 911. Again if i ignore reality those would be much more offensive to me then the Ann jokes.

Since I cant ignore reality though none of them bothered me and its extra funny today that the ann jokes did bother some, makes them even more of a hit then they actually deserve to be. There is simply no rational or logic behind being bothered by the ann jokes and ignoring the rest. Anybody who does is simply showing their biased.

One of her writers was on Joe Rogans podcast and said she kept changing the jokes they were giving her. Like the "I'm here to sell my book" **** was completely her idea. Apparently they wanted her to start off with self deprecating humor and she straight up refused.

On Saturday night, conservative columnist and diehard Donald Trump booster Ann Coulter attended a Comedy Central roast, and things went about as well as you might expect. Coulter was there as one of the assigned roasters for Rob Lowe, joining a gallery of comedians and Hollywood celebrities ready to poke fun at the 52-year-old actor. However, the event’s meanest, most brutal one-liners were directed not at the subject, but at fellow roaster Coulter.

“Ann is one of the most repugnant, hateful, hatchet-face bitches alive,” standup comic Jimmy Carr asserted. “It’s not too late to change, Ann. You could kill yourself!”

“The only person you will ever make happy is the Mexican who digs your grave,” comedian Nikki Glaser said.

“If you are here, Ann, who is scaring the crows away from our crops?” Pete Davidson, a comedian and Saturday Night Live cast member, asked. Davidson also called Coulter a “racist ****” during the taping.

“I do want to say as a feminist that I can’t support everything that’s been said tonight,” singer-songwriter Jewel said. “But as someone who hates Ann Coulter, I’m delighted.”

A spokeswoman for SNL told The Daily Beast that Davidson is “declining all press requests” at the time. "Everybody has such thin skin," Coulter emailed The Daily Beast, reacting to the jabs. "Bless their hearts, they were trying to be funny."

Coulter does not appear to have a deep or public connection to Lowe, leaving many critics and observers wondering what she was doing on Comedy Central’s roster of roasters. The two of them have, however, tweeted about each other in late 2013.

The Comedy Central Roast of Rob Lowe is set to air on Labor Day.

It's news that lefties are unkind and uncouth to conservatives?

You guys, of course, are the epitome of class and respect towards libtards, I mean your liberal-minded countrymen.

Well I don't know about all that, you may be 100% right but I do know why she bombed was because she wrote most of here own stuff I read an story on it but im not sure ill find it again, ill look. It didnt mention why she refused though and the jokes they mentioned that they gave here were funny and about others.

Regardless though anybody that thinks she was a vicinity after seeing any roast in the past and watching this one is simply lying and or biased. If you watched this roast that assumption is completely retarded and irrational.

When reality mimics art?

Heres "A" link to some of the jokes she refused because she said they werent funny and some how i guess she thought heres were LOL
The jokes Ann Coulter didn't use on Comedy Central Roast of Rob Lowe - Business Insider

This isnt what i read before I cant find it, maybe later.

The old Dean Martin roasts used to be very funny, very entertaining, and not the least bit mean spirited while making fun of everyone. Today's comedians wouldn't understand the concept and that's why they're unwatchable.

Greetings, CJ. :2wave:

:agree: It's the reason why I despise watching them today - there's nothing funny about them! The jabs are meant to be cruel, which I don't find entertaining at all!

I'm pretty certain Coulter expected what she got. Limbaugh never seemed to mind negative attention either, it draws more people in your direction and if you're the least bit interesting, you'll sell more books like the one Ann was obviously peddling.

I'm seeing a lot more intolerance and ugliness coming from the left to attack the right than I see from the right attacking the left.
Well, discounting the superfluous times when it's just 'your feeling' that get hurt or it isn't quite excessively PC enough.

If the "comedians" involved in this "roast" were well-known white supremacists, and the target of their thinly veiled death wishes and hate speech were a prominent minority figure, would your attitude be so cavalier?

Again, the simple fact of the matter is that these people weren't "joking." They were expressing honest hatred and malice. What's more, they were doing so to the point that it was actually distracting from the person the roast was supposed to be for, simply because they had a personal/political bone to pick with Coulter.

Trust you to be the one who doesn't get the difference between comedians and white supremacists. Even if they were expressing real hatred, they're doing it to someone for their actions, not for the color of their skin.

Further, the only one who expressed something approaching a 'death wish' was Jimmy Carr, who is well known for his particularly harsh brand of comedy. He's expressed 'death wish' style jokes about his family members, children, pregnant women etc etc etc. He's also ****ing hilarious.

No, they're expressing extreme, disproportional, hatred because of who she is, and what she believes. Frankly, that's almost as bad.

It's not exactly any secret that the modern Left, and people like these so called "comedians" in particular, only barely respect the right of people with opposing viewpoints to exist in the public space - which they view as being their own exclusive domain - at all, let alone when they actually make a habit of challenging the Left's self-assumed moral and ideological superiority, as Coulter has made a habit of doing. In that vein, they invited Coulter to this event for basically no other reason than to have an excuse to heap venom on her in the first place, and "cross the line" in any and every way possible while still having some semblance of "plausible deniability." While Coulter's a tough girl, and I'm sure she's game for whatever's thrown at her, that really doesn't make the thing any less scummy or inappropriate.

I'm sorry, but the simple fact of the matter is that these so called "comedians" are terrible ****ing human beings. A lot of comedians are, in point of fact... The field has a tendency to attract some rather supremely screwed up people.

My younger brother was active in the college comedy scene for a couple years. He received a lot of the same Lefty vitriol, and he wasn't even deliberately inflammatory like Coulter. He simply happened to hold the "wrong" opinions, and made the mistake of letting that be known.

Personal observations are the worst kind of evidence.

First, demanding a PC safe space. Now the race card.

And now he's a mind reader.

But, one who has never watched one of those comedy central roasts. All of them go like this. You're just screeching for the PC police because someone made fun of your favorite harpy.

And now he's a mind reader.

Yup. And right now my magical powers of deduction assess that you all fall rather squarely in the realm of "not fooling anybody."

Deal with it.

I say with absolutely no degree of exaggeration that some of those people probably would "kill" Coulter if they either thought they could get away with it, or had a crowd cheering them on. Such sentiments are actually fairly common on the Far-edges of the mainstream Left.

But, one who has never watched one of those comedy central roasts. All of them go like this. You're just screeching for the PC police because someone made fun of your favorite harpy.

Bull****. Again, the fact of the matter is that Coulter was only invited in the first place so people could make these kinds of comments free of consequence. There was literally no other reason for her to even be there.

Ann Coulter, victim.

She said why she was there: to pimp her book.

True. Like I said, I doubt Coulter really minds. She's had worse.

However, that hardly makes the motives, or the rabidly aggressive attitudes, of the Lefty comedians prancing around here any less transparent. They saw an opportunity to pounce on an "enemy" - almost a "sub-human," in their book - and so they took it.

This is pretty much "par for the course" as far as the general behavior, and so called "morality," of the modern Left is concerned. All can be tolerated... Expect someone who dares to disagree, and heaven forbid do so openly.

You're making a lot of really stupid value judgements of "the left" based on a friggin Comedy Central roast. Remove stick.
