Walking Dead [W:306]

are you tired of her?

or knowing they have to kill a main soon, that would be your preference

It just appears that they have been preparing her for it. Other than that I am indifferent on Carol as a character. If they do kill her that way I just hope there are some flowers for her to gaze at.

Two take-aways from last night's episode:

1. Do NOT think about smoking near a pregnant Maggie.

2. When Carol acts like a "little bird"...run.

I like Carol. She fools everybody into thinking she is weak and that works for her.

All the women were fantastic in that episode.

Feels like they're telegraphing several of the main characters deaths. Negan has to out bad guy how our 'heroes' are currently portrayed.

yes I think Carol might be going down

she is done with killing, she can no longer cope

I am confused about Negan...that dude they killed thinking he was Negan isn't is that right?

I think it's some kind of religious thing, like a cult.

I personally think Negan is the name of the entire group, or, a nickname for a particular philosophy of the group. Either way, I would bet there are more of them.

I know exactly what Negan is so I won't spoil.

omgosh....how do you know Ben...did you read a spoiler?

I watch talking dead and they have spoken of him and the actor who plays him but I don't know diddly about actors so...

I read the source material up to this point.

AHHHHHHHH wth Kirkman. Lousy cliffhanger.

What a terrible series finale.

A few takeaways from the finale...

1. Absolutely GREAT acting from all the main characters...especially Negan.

2. Who would have known there would be that many people gathered in one group after the apocalypse? They must have scoured the biker bars in 3 States to get all those extras!

3. #WHOISIT

I thought it was good and the ending great. I hate the seven month cliff hanger though, that is like torture. At least we have Fear the Walking Dead.

On 3 hoping it is Aaron. I don't think it will be any of the girls, and Rick and Carl appear safe with Negan saying feed Carl's other eye to Rick if anyone moves. In the comic book apparently it was Glen. I am leaning toward Aaron, Glen, or the mullet guy(can't think of his name). But I'm always wrong on these things.

I dont love how they ended the show. They have been kinda weaselly about how they have done things this last year starting with Glen under the dumpster. Killing off a minor character will be kind of a copout. Something about the advertising for the new show Ride With Norman Reedus (and this is pure reaching) he said some things very much in past tense as in he is done with it. That was my first thought. But it wouldnt make any sense that they would kill off Glenn, Rick, Darryl, Carl, or Abraham this way. Not helpless and on their knees. I think Aaron is the most likely candidate. Maybe Eugene. He had kinda his 'moment' tonight. Meh...7 months to find out...unless its a massive season opener, I think this format will lose viewers.

Lots of people are complaining about not knowing who got whacked and I'm having a hard time understanding why. After all cliffhanger season endings aren't exactly unheard of. It's gonna be a long 7 months waiting to find out who it was.....

Personally I think it was Glenn.

It's because AMC completely destroyed the most iconic scene in the comics for a petty ratings grab, and basically built up all of that anticipation towards who Negan was going to kill for nothing. All that emotional impact that that the finale had on me was completely lost when they cut to black. Added on to the fact that this whole episode was just a big tease; all rising action, but missing the climax and resolution.

It had the opposite effect on both my wife and I. Neither of us have read the comics - though I'm planning to during the hiatus between when Fear TWD ends and the next season of WD begins - and we both felt the episode was suspenseful and that that suspense will carry through the summer because we don't know who died.

Well if you had read the comics up to issue 100 you'd probably understand. It was basically a huge disappointment to most of us fans, and a complete butchering of the original comic scene.

But to each their own I guess. I still love the show, it's just I got pissed at AMC so much for this finale.
