Like I said earlier, the ones in her stand up were hack jokes that a lot of people do. They aren't pirated, they're hack.

So how did Chuck Schumer, a distant cousin, help her land a TV show in an industry that he has zero pull in? It makes zero sense.

Like I said, I read up on her when she started getting famous. Maybe you should actually read things about people before you start making proclamations about them.

Do you have ANY actual evidence to back up your assertion that Chuck somehow helped Cousin Amy's career?

BTW, her FATHER is Chuck Schumer's second cousin. Yeah, they're closely related. :lamo

Wow. I have enjoyed her work but...wow...that's a lot. No way ALL of that is a coincidence. Either she is a thief or the people she hires to write her material are thieves. Disappointing.

I'm sure it didn't hurt. "Who's this Amy chick everyone is talking about?" Asks some radio jock schmuck. "She's Chuck Schumer's cousin." Replies one of the gophers. "Oh. Well, we should get her on the show."

The Patrice O'Neal jokes weren't hack, hack means telling jokes to fit who your audience is, not telling a joke that's been told before many times.
Comedians call someone hack when they take the safe route to avoid bombing.
