UHG.

Look I know, it's a reboot and all, but seriously? Was that REALLY necessary?

Yeah... Blowing up the Enterprise seems a bit ballsy to say the least. But hey! At least they're not just remaking the same movie over again. That's progress... I suppose.

Wasn't Bryan Cranston supposed to be a Klingon in this, or something?

Let's see, in Star Trek II we had Khan, in this reboot, 2nd movie, Khan

In Star Trek III they blew the Enterprise up, and it was an emotional, heart wrenching sacrifice.
In this one they blow it up to lower the budget to play " 2 Trek 2 Furious "

Looks pretty good to me. At least as far as ultra modern visual effects go. Maybe it even has a plot.

This beats the crap out of Star Wars.

What do you think the target market is ??

It has enough female actresses to at least appeal to some female viewers -- nerd girlies and all that -- the female trekies.

I think it is worth a look.

It still beats the crap out of Star Wars.

They need to use McCoy. Out of all the rebooted characters, he's the most pitch perfect take on the original.

It still beats the crap out of Star Wars.

Even the worst Episode of Trek, with the worst Costumes and Set Design.

Has more creative force, more heart, more story and more characterization than all three Star Wars prequel movies.

This alleged Star Trek Movie in the OP is a corporate diarrhea fiasco.
