What is the protest about?

if fire fighters fight fire and crime fighters fight crime what do freedom fighters fight/
 
If it's about social issues, I'm not interested.

If it's about economic issues but it blames one class of Americans for our woes wanting to exact vengeance upon them, again, I'm not interested.

But, if it's about economic issues and wants to help some without harming others, let me know.

it's a film made for progressives/liberals about a failed protest against the war in Iraq....

How does a country have an economy that gives everyone what they want? It's impossible, someone gets the short end of the stick.

It's not so much that someone gets the short end of the stick.

It's more that some people don't even get a stick, or even a little twig.

I don't care if someone else has a big pole, just as long as I have an adequate staff.

(Okay .. let's not read anything into that last sentence, please. :lol: )

Hahaha, that was funny. Not being sarcastic it really was lol.

I think that's what most people have been asking for, but the wealthy corporate leaders and bankers have screwed everyone else out of fair wages.

The battle between owners, management, workers, all of whom are consumers, has been ebbing and flowing for some time. Today many Americans have indeed been screwed in the current state of affairs.

This link provides a pretty good history of what caused the screwed mess we're in, though it's a bit of a read. I found the causation and the responsibility to be more uncertain than I had originally thought: Powerful American Political Alliance .

Yawn. That dishonesty is the true meaningless drivel.

The point of that line is be wary of people who say they're fighting for freedom or want to a revolution.

not all revolutions are for freedom and democracy.
