Alright, seeing as how Netflix seems to be absolutely crawling with these things lately, I figured I might as well ask. Which one do you all think of as being the "best?"

Personally, it looks like DareDevil's going to have to take the title right now. Vincent D'Onofrio's performance was just too damn good.

However, I've recently started watching Gotham as well, and I've gotta say, it's no slouch. The "monster of the week" format is a little annoying, IMO, but I guess that kind of just comes with the territory where network television is concerned. I also like how the show feels more or less like real life, but with a vaguely cartoonish air of dark otherworldliness. It reminds me a bit of the "Arkham Asylum" series of games in that regard, and it just screams "BATMAN."

I haven't actually watched Green Arrow or the Flash yet. Are they any good?

Best TV show?
None that I know of.

Best movie super hero, Punisher played by Ray Stevenson.

It's a bit unfair to compare Daredevil to the other ones. Netflix allows them to do stuff that isn't possible in the other shows.

Flash is a fun diversion, yeah.

It's kind of funny actually. In spite of being only a network TV show, Gotham seems to do a freaking lot with what it has.

Apart from the "monster of the week" format I mentioned before, and their tendency to cut away before anything particularly gruesome happens, I honestly can't even tell that it's non-premium.

Wonder Woman comes to mind just because of Lynda Carter but The Greatest American Hero was always good for a laugh. I also used to like Lou Ferrigno as The Incredible Hulk.

Arrow is my favorite, although last season kind of sucked. I watch Flash and I know a lot of people prefer to Arrow now, but I still liek mah Arrow.

I was extremely impressed with Daredevil, can't wait until the next season.

I watched a few episodes but it was tonally off to me. Not a patch on batman: tas.

It's actually pretty alright, IMO.

Granted, I'd kind of prefer a series about Batman himself, rather than Gordon. We all know, at the end of the day, Gordon can't actually succeed, because there'd be no need for Batman otherwise. That ultimately renders the whole thing a moot point.

However, it undeniably does well with what it has.

I think it would have been far better as an else worlds style story where Bruce Wayne is killed along with his parents. gotham without batman and no prospect of batman would have been an interesting story to tell.

In theory, anyway, it might be interesting to watch young Bruce Wayne grow into Batman. In all likelihood, however, the show won't last that long (the actor is currently 12 or 13) unless it does a time jump. Frankly, at that point, they might as well just do another series explicitly devoted to that subject.

I am enjoying seeing the classic villains rise to power against the old school Mafia, however. A lot of the new inventions for the show are worthy additions to the rogue's gallery as well.

So far, we've had a vigilante who murders corrupt public officials with weather balloons. We've also had an escaped Arkham inmate who uses electricity as a weapon, and electro-shock therapy to either fry people's brains, or turn them into slaves.

Both have had a pretty distinctly "Batman" feel about them. Lol

My all time favorite superhero TV series is The Incredible Hulk.

I am currently watching Arrow Season 2.

I also like The Greatest American hero.

Charmed.

Buffy The Vampire Slayer and Angel.

Yes, i realize they are supposed to be about Supernatural stuff, but believe it or not, they really are superhero shows just with Supernatural trappings. When you look at them, their story structure is more like that of superhero story structure with many superhero cliche's in their story lines. Alternate dimensions. Body swapping. Evil twin look alikes. So on and so forth.

Flash was the only one I really enjoyed. They didn't screw up in some areas they could have, and they really made some great likable characters, focused on them and their interaction, had great episode super villans and powers, and the good larger season arch, all woven nicely. the humor kept it light and they made it work.

Arrow I'm having a hard time getting into. The rich family stuff is mind numbing to me, and he's kind of a baby about "well back on the island it was so hard!", "well back on the island I faced far worse!". But i'll keep going for a while longer, I hear from some it gets better too.
Daredevil was dark lit and mundane to me, didn't do much.
Agents of Shield - didn't work for me. I think it was the young guy and hacker girl that were just not interesting to me, at all, in any way. A shame.

I liked "The Incredible Hulk" t.v. series. I remember how scary this TV Guide cover looked back then and it still freaks me out a little now.

I dunno, the plot is predictable, the action scenes are cheap and the show doesn't aspire to become anything too great, but the actors are awesome and it's definitely good entertainment. Love it.

Pinky and the Brain

latest

Pinky: 'Why? What are we going to do tomorrow night Brain?'

Brain: 'The same thing we do every night Pinky...TRY TO TAKE OVER THE WORLD!'

Some call him a villain...not me. He is my hero.

I agree. It's kind of cheesy, but it's enjoyably so. For me, anyway, that's what Batman is pretty much all about.

It's nightmarishly dark and terrifying one moment, and you're chuckling at the absurdity of it all in spite of yourself the next.

I do like GOTHAM a great deal and its wonderful fun seeing the seeds of the Batman mythos planted in the various characters and city itself.

Is a person who can travel through time and save peoples lives a super hero? If so - my fave would be QUANTUM LEAP. Great stuff!!!

Maybe it's just because I can't binge it like I could the first, but Season 2 really isn't drawing me in as much.

I mean... It got off to a strong start, but that kind of went to Hell early on.

Killing Jerome probably wasn't the best idea in the world for their narrative flow.

This Galavan guy just doesn't have the same appeal as the mafiosos of last season. The idea that anyone would actually fall for his (pretty obviously evil) antics stretches credibility a bit too much, IMO.

Also, not enough Penguin! Lol

I watch Arrow and Flash religiously. I lost interest in Agents of SHIELD pretty quick, for some reason.

I watched the first episode of Supergirl the other day and thought it was hot garbage. Just awful.

That was what I thinking of as well. While GAH was funny, it also showed a very real side of what being a superhero would be like. You don't just suddenly get the whole package all at once, you would have to learn it as you went adn that learning curve would most likely take a lot of time and have some crappy effects as you learned.

Arrow has some great action scenes which got me into it, but it's just too 90210 or One Tree Hill for me. All these super attractive people moping after each other and eventually I just got sick of it. It just filled up with cliches and I imagine Flash is the same.

Daredevil was great.
