Re: How to build a Pyramid.
I know no one cares, but gotta put it down for copy/paste I told you so's.
To bad I don't link, could send you to the best and brightest web sites on the topic, reference here and destroy. Seem to be getting more attention to my attitude than anything. Go figure. Don Rickles shows up with new beer that never goes flat or gets warm and I could care less if he calls me hockey puck. "It's not what you know it's who you know." One of the things I'm trying to buck. Knowing Billo don't get blocks up steps, scares children allright, but there ya go. Found two more guys today with "they think they are me web sites". I try, I really do to give them a chance, but today makes me sort of grasp that Gump saying "stupid is as stupid does". First guy is an archaeologist. Did some TV thing on Stonehenge. Of course I have an explanation for that too. Same techniques, little creativity with what's at hand, wala, big circle of rocks professors make careers explaining, wrongly. Thing is I get to the first glaring mistake in their theory, (often based on the simple fact that I moved heavy things for a living and they sew leather patches on their elbows and stamp papers saying they're smart.) but sometimes just friggin, I don't know what to call it. So this guy says that while rollers would work, but for one they need a flat surface, hello road made out of pyramid blocks. Now pay attention. These are the people you paid to teach you instead of gathering round me for free. He says that they didn't use rollers because: They probably would have used tree trunks (I agree) but they are tapered which makes for trouble (I know what they would do under a block, and actually could at times be put to use) or, (this took me about two seconds to figure), you put them alternating, thick end left, thick end right, and so on, balances out but they would work their way out slowly from under the block toward the thick end. Block sliding down hill so to speak. Or you friggin even them out. But this guy says proof they didn't use wood rollers is that that would take a lot of work. They tear up, time spent making the diameter consistant along it's length, but mostly they didn't work into his idea. Too much work to make them even... I'm gonna let that sink in for a second, what's wrong with that reason? |

Re: How to build a Pyramid.
You have no stinking idea do you?
Okay, he says it wont fly because it's too much work. So you got men chiseling with soft metal 2.3 million blocks out of solid rock, moving them distance and schlepping them up 481 feet. Quarrying 70 ton blocks and barging them long ways by river. Thousands of men working decades to build this thing, but hacking at some wood is too much work? The setting suns rays creeped over the sands adding an ever more crimson hue to the color of the evening as the Pharaoh worked on his legacy to mankind and confusion of schoolers. "So let me get this right" asked Khufu. "We have the men to quarry all year. The farmers will work during off season. The funds are available and allocated. But you are telling me we need another two hundred men just to even rollers?" "That is correct your highness" stuttered the bean counter. "Screw it, too much work" said the Pharaoh. "Make me a hot tub". You with me? Too much work? So I read no further in his guys bull****. I email him, go through the deal, very lite on the attitude. Writes back, complains about my tone, how dares me about my telling him he's wrong, but still writes and seems okay. Write him back, tell him don't mind me, steer him here, be all nice about "beginning a discourse on the matter" and on. Guy said something else in his paper that showed me he knows Jack shi*t about rollers. Anyway, if he wont use rollers, then it's dragging the weight or lever action. Lots of people, lots of time. Way more effort moving weights like this than tending rollers. They know I'm here. The views are growing and more of my drawings have been down loaded. Seen any rebuke yet? Beside Herodotus said no and there's a drawing somewhere. Haven't heard from Larry since I stepped on the death machine. Just a warm up. That thing is hilarious. Not a peep on my road idea. Intestines for a water level. Roller pass by stop deal. Using the flood to raise and lower the barges. On and on. They just can't hang. Not to mention they can't seem to get by my starting some emails with "I moved safes for ten years and I'm way friggin smart". To me, not facing reality is a sign of some personal issues. Avoiding reality in many of these cases I'm seeing is a morality issue. Told you it would be like this. National Geographic wrote me back. They're busy, lazy, stupid or apathetic. But they did send me the good Dr. Kali Hawwas's mail address. Snail mail. I crack on him a lot but understand in his position of HMFIC of the pyramids and stuff he probably gets a gazillion foil hatters a day claiming the same thing as I. Worse comes to worse I'll write him a professional letter, sucking him in to be exposed to the contagion. |

Re: How to build a Pyramid.
Found a tin foil hat site with buku pyramid play. 10 views in minutes of posting. Who cares, look how well behaved I was.
quote]Originally posted by Marchimedes I moved safes for ten years. Ever heard of Occam's Razor? A saying that the easiest and simplist way is most likely the answer. Do you think aliens or flying monkeys built the pyramids because that's what you desperately want, or because of evidence? Foil hat too tight? Because of there being no plausible start to finish construction theory that holds water? If there was would you be honest with yourself and admit it? There is now. I used to move safes with rollers and levers. And other heavy stuff. My method uses the least energy, travels the shortest distance, is the safest, uses only what we know the Egyptians had, accounts for the lack of evidence, uses heavy stuff moving methods used every day, can be applied to Stonehenge, Mayan pyramids and on, hasn't had one error or flaw pointed out in over a year, will make you pull the covers over your head and pray to Art Bell. This is no joke. This is how it could have been done. I'm not saying it was done this way. Just a well run job site. No ramps, no sleds, no cranes, no kidding. I want my theory to be drug through the ringer. Beat like Billo in church with no pants. Questioned, picked at, scrutinized, until no one can say it can't work. I friggin dare you. It's all on another site. With drawings and presented in my style which you just haven't seen. And I got way more. Note that all the teqniques I talk about are correct and well used. Don't try to tell me a lever can't pick up that weight. I've done it. I wont "prove" it with formulas and links to "levers-are-our-friends" web sites. Moving haevy weight with simple tools is almost art. Don't tell me rollers wont roll. Don't read some and then question me. Read it all first. If you have questions I'll be happy to answer. Violate these terms and be abused. You'll see. At that site teacher is my screen name. It's a political debate forum with extras. It's name is debate politics. The forum is "Science and technology". The thread is "How to build a pyramid" by teacher. Me. The Warden. You'll see if you have a sence-o-humor. For those of you not afraid it's a hypmotizing engine www.debatepolitics.com or closer http://www.debatepolitics.com/scienc...pyramid-6.html It's solved, done, over, fat lady is singing. The only thing left is for you to admit it. I see I'll have fun here. Ya'll are made for me. For instance... At the same site, forum "War on terror". Thread tittled "9/11 was an inside job" I, teacher, (resist) lay out the best explanation of how the towers fell. No bombs, ray guns or Billo eating Burritoes. It also is unrebuked. I beat on some conspiracy points also. Ask nice and I'll knock heads here. Smartest thing for you to do is petition for my immeadiate bannishment and post deletion. Can you handle the truth? Ya'll ain't near ready for me above top secret members?. I was so well behaved I'm gonna copy this post to that thread. [/quote] That place is hilarious. If they won't come here for abuse I'll go there. It has to be done. It's for their own good. |

Re: How to build a Pyramid.
Well, that site deleted my thread because they didn't like me linking here. So I'll just copy paste a nightmare in their midst. My newbie first post there...
Thread tittle. Quote:
Now, how would you react if a newbie came here bringing that? This should be interesting. Maybe my foil hat Top Ten will be in order soon. Enjoy the show. Don't forget. This is real and I'm taking it to the top after I sow despair and shame. |

Re: How to build a Pyramid.
In the time I came here and copy/pasted the above and returned to my chew toy, there's been 17 views. They were waiting for me to repost.

Re: How to build a Pyramid.
This is great. I'm banned. For telling them I'm smarter then them. Thread has 500 views. Members are PM'ing me and petitioning for me to be let back. No rebuke on the theory of course. Been lightly smacking. But don't worry, home is where the Top Tens are. They just weren't prepared for this. I don't think I've actually broken any rules, it's just too much. If you want to see people's first reaction to The Warden's World Wide Carnage Tour and Menagerie, check it out.

Re: How to build a Pyramid.
This is great. I'm still banned. I just wrote the leader who wrote me. He told me humor and innuendo does not transmit over text. I told him HE didn't get it and just go look at MY thread on HIS site and read the posters saying so. Human nature people. Small tiny people who can't handle the truth, the person that says it, and getting what they give. 1000 views now. They've a couple of in house pyramid experts that are doing their best to put their feet in their mouths and doing quite well at it. And I've been VERY laid back. If they let me back I'm going to destroy their hero's. This really is amazing. Thank goodness I can always come back here and abuse you people. I told them I would not read the rules.
Folks, be thankful for what you have here. |

Re: How to build a Pyramid.
Hi teacher, I'm from that other board that banned you today and I just registered here so I could share some opposing facts with your friends over here.
I think the resident pyramid expert(s) did a pretty good job explaining some things to you without putting her foot in her mouth. You haven't been very laid back either, you started attacking people in your first post! Humor is very well received on that board, what you were posting wasn't all humor, it was insulting inflammatory behavior. Very immature. It's strange I started reading this post and I think that, aside from inflating your own ego sometimes, you were very good at presenting your ideas. Why couldn;t you do that over there? I think you would have been very well received and I would have loved to engage you in some discussion. I agree with your theories, I think that it is the most likely answer! Well, hopefully, you can reign in your ego, tighten your grasp on humor and civility and start educating people on this theory. Although you can't take credit for it, I think you have the knowledge to make it more understandable to the average joe. |

Re: How to build a Pyramid.
Quote:
The taper on the logs doesn't matter. An individual log wouldn't be under the block long enough to creep enough to matter. The other issue is the logs would be self rounding. With the wider ends carrying the majority of the weight, those ends would wear down more quickly, producing a nice even roller within a fairly short amount of time. The workers probably looked forward to when a log had made a couple of trips to the pyramid and was nicely rounded, but not yet falling apart. |
