Yea, I saw that show. Twice. Again today. Martin has some small clues but overall he's a hack. 2.5 tons lifted by a sail? Rookies. I'm almost ready to state that these people don't want a valid explanation because it ends their careers and makes them look stupid. I'd also like to see a sail lift the King's chamber blocks. 70 tons. And I have never seen a theory explain how to install the casing stones. I'm slowly coming to terms with the possibility that I may have to submit my theory their way. Far as I can tell the whole system is set up to perpetuate the status quo and is totally uninterested in what I feel should be the most important factor. Truth. No system gives a reasonable way to move a 2.5 ton block up 2.5 feet. One thing I'm surprised at is in the quarry itself steps are not built into the quarry walls . Another thing, in that show they state as fact that the blocks were loaded onto sleds and dragged. There is no evidence of that. The difference between their way and mine is the difference between dragging a car with the wheels off or on. Does no one have the ability to grasp the concept that it's easier to move blocks on rollers than to drag them? Martins theory as how the blocks were lifted up the side of the pyramid would take the total strength of at least 50 men to raise a 2.5 ton block up one level of 2.5 feet. My way I can do it by myself. Not theory, I've done it with safes. This topic makes me crazy. Giant ramps, thousands of cubic yards of material. I do it with 2020 extra blocks. And Dr. Hawass can bite me. Holier than thou, position protecting primadona. And there is no way using Martins triangle level that a side with a length of 756' could be leveled to within a inch. And his sighting down a board over that distance to find level at distances is absurd. Water levels are almost perfect. How do I make people pay attention to this without going through the "accepted" process? In said process I can't make joke one. I don't think I can do that. Well, I could, but it might kill me. The numbers of men they propose was needed is about in line with mine. You'd hink that in his day and age the human ace could put aside petty poliics in such matters.

Re: How to build a Pyramid.

Want to use 1st post in very positive way, Keeping teacher as top tenner seems somewhat appropriate, do you get a badge or something!!

Around here - most of us don't need no Stink'n Badges.

Thinking sounds very sound, similar to the way group approached "rebuilding stonehedge" with lever-fulcrum, roller(wheel and axle), and incline plane a lot is certainly possible.

I liked to fact that when modern man rebuilds an artifact like this, he elects to use Styrofoam instead of rock, I quess it lasts about as long.

Re: How to build a Pyramid.

Kings chamber blocks. 70 tons. Should I start with how they were loaded and unloaded onto and off of barges (gotta love that Nile flood) or should we go right to how they were raised up to where they now sit? Both are simple explanations, if you have followed and understand what I have put forth so far. This will be pyramid building 102 folks. I understand no one cares.

Gay, straight, or bi? The Egyptians? That better?

Tashah. Haven't spent one second researching wood. Been thinking maybe I'm better off accruing enough cash to show my ass alone raising a 2.5 ton block up 2.5' with only what they had. Will that work? Do that several million times and you got yourself a pyramid. You see what I'm stuck on?

The ignore button under spell check. You know. When you want to appear backwoodsish in a post so you choose to mispell certain words but want to check the rest of your post. Your drunk, ain't you? You're missing the subtle points tonight. Shame Billo. But yea, the other ignore button is for pussies. I bet I'm on more ignore lists than you...but then there can only be one King Asshole.

It's good to be king.

Re: How to build a Pyramid.

It's interesting to think about who built the pyramids but frankly, I personally couldn't care less. I would rather spend my time playing video games. It would be cool to be an Indiana Jones kind of guy but unfortunately, archeology in real life isn't nearly as exciting.
