Since you finally gave me a source to work with, I'll assume that you believe it is not full of "lies to serve the liberal agenda".

Within days, Obama and Biden were holding up Joe to public ridicule, and by implication mocking any American working stiff who might have the audacity to want to earn more than $250,000 per year.

Most disturbing is this: If that’s how Joe the Plumber gets dealt with while Obama is still stumping for votes, then what happens to Joe, or anyone else who dares question Obama’s plans, should Obama win the White House?
lol, do you actually believe this?

Re: The Democrat Party's Drubbing of Joe the PLumber

I think Joe the plumber will stay with me as the clearest example of the utter blindness of the Obama supporters. Nobody but a total groupie would start attacking a person who asked a candidate a question.

Try to understand how unreasonable you are being.

A person can agree or disagree with what Obama answered, but to attack the person asking the question is pure insanity.

Honesty is the best policy.

This is not your average voter asking a question. If you think he is, I suggest you research the topic further and sift through the handful of pages in this thread.

So if someone lies, you don't call them out on it? You live in a strange world.

Its definitely an unpleasant thing to attack Joe, I don't believe he was trying to push his agenda. He was just a conservative Republican questioning Obama about some hypothetical situations.

You're right, he was attacked by Democrats viciously, but not until after he was put on a pedestal by McCain. McCain used him as an example of small businesses everywhere who would be hurt by Obama's economic plan. This is what caused the investigations into his life.

Sure its not fair to Joe, he was just asking a question. You can blame whoever you want, but its how politics work. If you bash your opponent's platform (as McCain did), your arguments support is going to be torn apart to find weakness. The purpose of the media is make the unknown, known.

One small problem, the press was already investigating Joe before the debate. Please don’t be so naive as to suggest otherwise. Regardless as to whether McCain brought him up in the debate, his penetrating and revealing question about Obama was already in the air and the topic of every political show on air! The investigation of a citizen for asking a pertinent question was underway the second he stepped away from the microphone. This idea that is all because McCain brought him 21 times in the debate is a pathetic and flimsy excuse.

Yes, the media covered him before the debate. After the debate in which he was mentioned 21 times, there was a media blitzkrieg. If McCain had not made such a big deal about him, he would of faded into obscurity as "the guy who stumped Obama".

I think you should watch the full exchange. I don't think Joe's question was nearly as "penetrating" as you think. In fact, it looked to me as if Joe was satisfied with Obama's answer. You are wrong in the fact that it was Joe's question that was the topic of every political show. They were far more interested in his "spread the wealth around" comment.

YouTube - Joe the Plumber - Obama McCain Debate - Ahhh Joe Famous Now

You cannot deny that the detrimental coverage of Joe aired after the debate. Sure they were investigating him after the coverage his exchange got, but there was no mud slinging or exposing of his financial records until after the debate.
