These numbers are not going to last. With the poor showing that McCain has made over the last 3 days, showing that he doesn't have a clue about how to address the economy, these numbers will certainly fall over the next two days.

From your own link:

However, there are three large caveats. First, 13 states worth, 166 electoral votes, are statistical ties. If we look only at the states where one of the candidate's has a lead of 5% or more, Obama has 188 EVs to McCain's 184. In other words, it is very close (again this year). Second, McCain has not taken a single Kerry state from Obama while Obama has taken two states from those Bush won in 2004 (Iowa and New Mexico). Pennsylvania is currently a tie. Third, all these polls were taken before the meltdown on Wall St. Polls taken a week from now could look quite different.

I've noticed that since Rasmussen numbers have gone the other way you stopped touting them as your source and have found one that fits your spin for now.....

That's when the electoral vote count will be relegated to the pile of meaningless drivel, obviously.

nah....he'll just bounce back to whatever poll he can find to make his point.
Last week Rasmussen...but now that Obama has climbed in Rasmussen, its Electoral-vote....Navy flip flops from poll to poll almost as much as John McCain flip flops on his positions.

Re: McCain top 270 electoral votes for the first time..

To be fair for all whose enjoying jumping on the "Bash Navy for not posting when his parties down" bandwagon...

I notice none of you are ever in the threads posted by liberals going "Haha, McCain is losing ground" or "Ha! Look, Obama's winning" asking them if they were going to post when McCain took the lead.

Do you really honestly give a damn if someones only posting when things go well for their candidate, or is it just a chance to ridicule Navy?

It's yet another opportunity to giggle at someone who has a proven record of completely ignoring evidence which contradicts their position on a subject.

That said, there are lots of threads I don't post in.

I hear what you are saying Zyphlin, but to be fair....there aren't many people on this board that refer to a certain website as being the "most accurate and respected pollster" when their candidate is winning and "a biased pollster that only polls liberals when they aren't".

Point taken.

But consider this. Who has posted the most poll threads? I can't speak for anyone else, but it isn't Navy the person I am bashing, it's the poster who has posted more polls than anyone. It's not like it's Kandahar's InTrade thread where he is actually updating it no matter who is up.
