Kandahar is a extremely bad example, as he's one of the few that actually has posted both when the guy he supports has gained ground and when the others do.

I can think of two threads off hand that simply gave daily/weekly updates of a specific poll, regardless of results. The vast majority of the rest has basically just been posting when they're guy does well / the other guy does bad. Including some on this thread who are critizing Navy for doing the same thing they themselves do.

Yeah, poll wars suck. People are hypocrites. But I think some feel the need to counter the other ones. It's a one upmanship thing.

People should review state poll trends and realize that the tight shifts in National Polling is within the margin of error with the popular vote still being irrelevant. Every state is its own race and momentum shifts in every given state over a time-line, can definitely indicate momentum shifts. The women of the U.S. are now the majority at 52%. That demographic is causing fluctuations in many state races. This week, momentum goes to McCain. We'll see what the ladies are thinking next week when the dust settles from the bust in the Financial Sector. In the end, I think the mom's running the budgets at home will not take a chance on the "new guy" just talking Change, otherwise they would not be eroding away steadily to McCain/Palin over a time period marking Obama's coronation as the Democrat nominee.
