My earlier post on IQ's has a couple of serious omissions:

1. It doesn't define a single, standardized test.

2. It neglected to mention that most internet tests give exaggerated scores (I found out how bad this was after numerous genius scores were posted).

So let's do it again -- the right way. Let everybody take the same test.

The Stanford-Binet (or an equivalent) is the generally accepted standard IQ test. If you took this test as an adult (over age 18), then that should be close to your true IQ score.

If you haven't taken this test as an adult, I found one on the web that gives scores that are not exaggerated. I tested it several times to verify it.

It is labeled "our most difficult IQ test." However, it is fairly quick to take and does not require registration or submission of personal information.

It is also programmed to give different questions when taken repeatedly. Thus you can take the test several times and get valid scores. Then you can average them.

When you take the test, be sure there are no distractions--no children, friends, spouse, ringing phones, radios or TV's. You are by yourself with your computer.

Now everybody do the test, up to 5 times. Click on the following site:

Click on "TA3 our most difficult IQ test." Then click "begin test" and then "begin."

Then post your scores. Please be honest.

Those who have taken a standard test can compare their scores with this one.

Given that whole point of an IQ test is to test innate intelligence, why does that test ask questions that require knowledge of history or mathematics beyond simple concepts?
