Hana has a background symbolic of all that is wrong (right....far, far right....) with Amerika. Hana was the place where Samuel F. Pryor Jr. lived, on an 100 acre estate...(well, make that 95 acres, after he gave 5 acres to his "life long friend", Charles A. Lindbergh). Pryor and Lindbergh are buried in a small church cemetery there, only "yards apart". Pryor's father was president of Remington-UMC, the Bridgeport, CT. small arms and ammo manufacturing megalith from which was shipped, the bulk of the rifles and cartridges used by "all sides" during WWI and in the years that followed. During the 1934 War Profiteering hearings led by Sen. Gerald Nye, Pryor Sr. was nicknamed a "Merchant of Death". He purchased Jupiter Island in Hobe Sound, FL, in 1930, and he and his daughter Pernelia Pryor Reed sold lots on the island to those who would "fit in". Approved purchasers were Prescott Bush, the Harrimans, Brown Bros. son-in-law, Robert Lovett, Dupont president Walter S. Carpenter, who negotiated the purchase of Remington-UMC by Dupont in 1934 and presided over Dupont's lead contractor role in the development of both the A-bomb and the H-bomb, as well as Dupont's continued business relations and communications with IG Farben, all the way till Jan., 1945. Paul Mellon and Edsel Ford bought homes on Jupiter, and the WWII OSS and it's successor, the CIA were designed and led by Jupiter Island men, and their attorneys, Bill Donovan, and the brothers, John Foster and Allen Dulles. Two recent presidents came from a Jupiter family, the Bushes. Quite a large number of folks of influence on US finance, defense, intelligence, and on the executive branch coming from a tiny island with a permanent population of 640 people.
Sam F. Pryor Jr. was a republican committeeman from Greenwich, CT, and was Wendell Willkie's 1940 eastern region campaign manager during Willkie's bid to unseat FDR. Pryor introduced Willkie to William Rhodes Davis, an American "oil man" who partnered with Hitler to build the Eurotank oil refinery in Hamburg, DE and supply it with expropriated, Mexican crude oil. Davis' oil supplied the Nazi navy and the Luftwaffe in 1939 and 1940. Asst. US Atty Gen. O. John Rogge documented the results of interrogations of Goering and Ribbentrop at Nuremberg in 1946. Rogge reported that Davis was Nazi Abwehr agent C-80, directed by Goering and supplied with funds from the Nazi regime's DC embassy to finance Willkie's 1940 campaign, with the knowledge of Willkie and Pryor. Davis paid for John L. Lewis's nationwide broadcast speech, endorsing Willkie on behalf of the CIO union council. British spy, Stephenson, aka "Intrepid", admitted in his 1976 memoirs to "removing" Davis in Mexico, on Aug. 1, 1941.
Charles Lindbergh, recipient of a medal from Hermann Goering in 1938, was a strong supporter of the accomplishments he surveyed in Nazi germany, and he was a promoter of and featured speaker of "America First" committee in 1940 and '41. The group was founded by Yale student Robert Douglas Stuart Jr., later chairman of Quaker Oats and later founder with "America First" president, Robert E. Wood, of the "American Security Council". Lindbergh's wife, Ann Morrow, in 1940 authored a book: (From a PBS web page...)
"Her most controversial published work was her 1940 book "The Wave of the Future," in which she appeared to share her husband's favorable opinions regarding Nazi Germany. Speaking of the book in a 1973 television interview, Morrow Lindbergh admitted, "It was a mistake... It didn't help anybody... I didn't have the right to write it. I didn't know enough."
In 1972, Gore Vidal said, "We only have one political party in the U.S., and that is the property party, which essentially is corporate America, which has two right wings, one called Republican and one called Democrat. I can't say I like either of them."
There is a reason that Pryor Jr. and Lindbergh are buried "just yards apart" at Hana, a reason why tiny Jupiter Island's residents have had such outsized political influence, and why the military industrial complex has grown so huge and profitable for it's investors. Gore Vidal sums that reason up. People in the US financed the rise of the Nazis and "absorbed" what was left of the Reich at the end of the war. John McCloy pardoned Alfried Krupp and the other major Nazi industrialists, and Hitler's intelligence chief, Gehlen, founded the West German intelligence org. My point is that there is no choice in US elections....one political party with two right wings....Obama is so close to McCain in most of his positions...."war on terror", central front in Afghanistan, an enemy of Israel is an enemy of the US.... "I will use pre-emptive force"....both candidates are to the right of Eisenhower in income tax, use of force, and policy towards Israel. The price we've paid to "fight communism" was the elimination of any left leaning policial force (contrast the US to the French...big government, near balanced trade, strong currency, yet more popular tourist destination than the US, model state provided healthcare, half the percentage of national poverty, five weeks paid vacation, $13.00/hr. min. wage., earlier retirement with more generous pensions, world's highest productivity per hour worked, and job protections and low, low university tuition...)
We truly are a united, right of center country in our politics, accepting as normal the dual Bush presidencies and the fact that both Bush and Kerry were secret society members of Skull and Bones in 2004. We are too brainwashed to notice how far right we are, how little we've represented our own best interests in our voting. French GINI is 28, and in the US, it's 45. The bottom 50 percent in the US own just 2-1/2 percent of all the wealth and the top one percent own 33 percent. Realtors, as they grow poorer during this ongoing "bust", may begin to question where we are, how we got here, and where we are going. Right now, most are still not even curious. Jonah Goldberg and Amity Shlaes write bestselling books "informing" you that "the left" is fascist, when there is no "left", and George HW Bush's best friend is Will S. Farish III, a man raised by his grandfahter, Robert E. Wood, a man whose paternal grandfather, William S. Farish, plead "no contest" to 1942 federal accusations that his ESSO NJ partnered with IG Farben and supplied Farben with the tetra-ethyl lead additive that made aviation fuel octanes high enough to power the Luftwaffe in the 1940 battle of Britain.
Think !! Don't let American "politics" and religion distract you. You're in the "Adult Daycare" setting that they've designed for you, republican and democratic party leaders, and they've convinced you that they oppose each other, when they are complicit and enabling of each other. If you were a foreigner with the choice of emigrating to the US or to France, where would you pick to migrate to?
