Under that definition every political ad that points out flaws of a candidate is a fearmongering ad. I don't think that any of these guys you mention have had policies that Obama voted for and campaigned for.

You have yet to convince the readership here that your bear true faith and allegiance to our system of government. So, it makes perfect sense that if you didn't support our current form of government and our traditional values that you would not be afraid of Islamists, Communists, Marxists and felons. You would welcome, encourage and even help those unsavory individuals infiltrate our government.

Nope. It means that Obama's message of HOPE is empty and meaningless. And that the particulars of Obama's message appeals to those who are enemies of our system of government, our laws, our system of laws.

If you know of a law enforcement officer whose best friends and supporters are gangsters, drug dealers, influence peddlers and others who law enforcement would naturally be expected to oppose, what would you think?

And what should we think of law enforcement officers who would make excuses for those associations?

It's not just the fact of our public servants having to avoid wrong doing but they have to be careful to avoid the APPEARANCE of wrong doing.

Obama fails on that score.
