People interested in politics perhaps? We certainly don't seem to have any problem imagining that people care about our opinions, since we post them here ad nauseum for other people to read.

Should celebrity opinions automatically be disregarded because they are famous? As far as I am concerned, there opinion as as valid (and only as valid) as the reasoning upon which it is built.

If they happen to have a venue with which to get their opinion out to more people, then good for them. If I had such a venue available to me I would probably use it to get my opinion out there as well.

What ment to say or may of not made it clear is why does the fact that celebrities disagree with bush matter som much that someone makes a post about it. We don't start posts about how some random guy on the street disagrees with bush or 9/11. So why should someone do it for celebrities?

Maybe to show that the "tinfoil hatters" are a needed part of social evolution.
I think a celebrity showing calm and clear reason sparks more people than someone they have no relationship to what-so-ever. Even though a T.V. relationship isnt much of a relationship.

If you were looking to cast a film about a bunch of left wing loonies it would be hard to choose a better cast than these just based on their previous activities.
