Since the Democratic opposition to the war began I have always believed it was a deliberately cynical and treasonous position taken as a means of gaining political power. This book makes that assertion and from the looks of it (I have yet to read it) the authors make the charge stick.

Anyone feeling smug about a Democratic victory in November will have to think again.

There is very little wiggle room here for the Democrats.

This Fall they will be known as the Party of Defeat for another reason.

Horrowitz is someone I like because he's been on both sides of the fence. Same with Reagan, who was a staunch Democrat until the 60s. It sounds like a rather interesting piece.

I love John Stossel because he used to be rather liberal before becoming a very influential libertarian.
