Why does it bother you so much Caine? How does someone abusing prescriptions pills affect you? I really dont much care if someone wants to get all knocked out with oxycodone or heroine for that matter.

Drug abuse increases the medical care costs of the rest of us.

As well as turning people into unproductive citizens, and many times public nuisances.

Have you ever had to live with a pill-popping alcoholic?

How do you ever have to live with someone?

Im an insured, working member of America, if I get decide I want to get jacked up on vicodin then so what? How does that increase your health care costs?

As far as being public nuisances, there are other laws that already cover that. If someone gets loaded up and jumps in a car, then they fall under the DUI laws, etc. I would be all for making some of these laws harsher for punishment of those that use these drugs and put others at risk.

I may or may not have mentioned the experience with dealing with mentally ill people through my job, but thats just like Captain America mentioning his (which he has much much much more).

Also since when are cops not human beings?
